did the devs ever say how "Receive a €10 discount towards the released game" is gonna work?

is it a code or paypal refund? what if i buy a toolpack but dont like the game and dont plan on buying it..

its nothing like shift 2 and not a disapointment at all, I like iracing and I love this.

its not a bag of poo, so dont worry, its really fun to drive around in some of the cars with a good default setup, like the dtm car

That's because Shift 2 is a shipped and completed game. pCARS is still in pre alpha and the best part of a year from release and not in anyway optimised.

It handles much better than Shift 2, so don't worry about that.

Plus they're redoing the tyre model at some point afaik, so it will only get better.

out of ~15,000 members who have joined i have seen 4 who wanted a refund, all of whom were expecting CARS to be a complete game with multiplayer and everything like that. i really doubt you will want a refund tbh

however, if you do then the mods are generally willing to give you one


next week i think we will be able to mess around with all the FFB settings, which should be nice

guys, if you really want a challenge run the caper stock car round bathurst against an AI in the asano X4.

with my usual tweaks to the setup (brakes @ 66% front and final drive at 4.62) its a damned tough race. i only won because the AI span out more than i did. i went for a 12 lap race because after that i'm in danger of running out of fuel with the stock setup

because of the random AI difficulty assignment you might want to make the maximum and minimum AI difficulty equal

it wouldnt surprise me if they just put in some temporary sounds because that car is the least developed car in the game currently (it only recently changed from prealpha to alpha1)
