Yea some of the ones in pcars are but I'm surprised you never heard of RUF they have been in games over over a decade
Yes, its EA that has the porsche license, they've had it since Need for Speed Porsche Challange or something like that, it was a NFS game based entirely on porsche, and since then all games have used RUF, there was a porsche boxster game for PS1 back in 1995 I think..
Pcars is using a few odd names as place holders, Mercedes is one of them, guess they are still working out licensing.. but RUF won't change, it'll be RUF even when the game releases.. No issue, I'm not overly keen on Porsche cars anyhow..
I want to see Skylines, BTCC and DTM cars as well as more classic F1 cars like McLaren and Williams..!!

2012 mercedes C-class coupe DTM listed on the roadmap as well and some 2003 skyline that appears to be racing in the same class as those 2 DTM cars
BTW 2012 Formula Gulf 1000 will be exported into the game next week

Yes, found the Audi A4 DTM and that is one of the classes I've been well into, cars look excellent, and woah, mercedes C-class DTM and Gulf 1000??

ready when ready and no date has ever been mentioned.
at the current rate I would imagine it being sometime early next year or the end of this year if they put a mad rush on like they have sometimes before when they wanted to push some features out fast
I want to play this more but setting my wheel up is so much effort
lol not as much effort as what I'm doing at the moment to try and find myself a wheel to try it out other then with a gamepad..
Was looking over the G27 but I can't buy that one as 1) my missus would kill me and 2) game isn't out yet although really what it is truthfully is the missus would kill me, and i can play a game better with a gamepad if i've still my life lol

A second hand Logitech Driving Force GT or a Second hand Thrustmaster Ferrari 430 is your best option, if you want to keep your gentlemen's region intact and free from wifely retribution.
I'd say you could get either for around the £60 mark. This might help you decide which one to get.

I'm always eagerly checking to see if I have access to any of the other cars but unfortunately not. I have the basic package (Junior?). Shame that we can't upgrade the membership currently
Even when new cars are included it usually takes a while before they are worth driving.
Played it for an hour or so yesterday. FFB on the DTM car feels better than it has done in the last few builds and seems to be less inclined to spin the back end out when cornering.
Online races are still a joke. It's just a ram fest, which I find amazing really. If you consider that a large percentage of people that can actually play this game are supposed to be from the Sim racing community. And they all claim to want nothing more than clean races.
I've been searching ebay for a DFGT. I mentioned it to the missus last night.. Wasn't too impressed. She wasn't too impressed when I purchased a gaming laptop, then a desk, then a screen etc...
Long story short, gaming laptop is perfect for when she moans I'm not in the same room. A wheel means I'll have to rig up to a desk, she'll moan..!! She is good at that. But I want to try it with a wheel, see what the fuss is about.. lol £60 is about the cost of two games TBH.
And when she goes out, I can use it then.

I have a DFGT pretty decent wheel and benefits nicely from the bungee cord mod to give the break pedal a bit more weight to it.
I actually tried to sell mine on the members market for about £60 quid ages ago and no one wanted it lol, Not interested in selling it any more though

just watch there is quite a few and dont just buy one cause you want one eagerly they go for as little as 35 quid sometimes but upto 65 quid on a good day.
