Call of Duty Black ops 4 (PC)

I have given my WiiU to my 6yr old, and as I was setting it up for him I noticed I had Black Ops 2, I thought I would just pop it on and see it still had servers online, too my amazement there was over 500 players playing, and the WiiU version of Black Ops 2 looks graphically better than this... how on Earth is that even possible?

Wii U version of Black Ops 2 was the better console version. I'm not surprised its still popular online.

Well the Wii-U did have a much stronger GPU and more ram than the ps3/x360 if hobbled by a weak CPU and GPU functions not accessible to developers, compute side of the GPU was cut off by Nintendo.

Patch Notes.
With today’s game update, our latest Zombies balancing pass is now live on all platforms, delivering several highly-requested gameplay changes across all Zombies maps.

Let’s cut right to the chase: last zombie bleed-out time has been doubled, XP earn rates have been boosted for solo and 2-player matches, we’re spawning fewer Hellhounds on mixed rounds in Blood of the Dead and Classified, and players can now use four unique Elixirs per round. We’ve also made other tweaks to ensure a more balanced Zombies experience in addition to these changes, so check out the full list below, jump into some matches, and let us know what you think.

The Black Market is also now live across all platforms starting today, granting all players access to hundreds of cosmetic items by progressing through our first Contraband collection, Operation: First Strike. Earn your way across a full season of rewards in Multiplayer and Blackout, including new Signature Weapons, Gestures, Outfits, Calling Cards, Tags, Stickers, Blackout characters, and more.

And tomorrow, our free Halloween Event content stream goes live across all platforms, adding a time-limited second stream to the Black Market with spooky seasonal cosmetics to unlock! Get out there and show off your favorite new loot, just in time for All Hallow’s Eve.

Lastly, before we dig into today’s full notes: we are currently tracking players implementing an exploit that allows multiple copies of the same Perk to be equipped in Multiplayer. We are clearing those players’ Create-a-Class entries as a warning and will be banning repeat offenders after this point. This exploit will be resolved in an upcoming update.

As a reminder of our enforcement policy in Black Ops 4: Any player who abuses an exploit in game code or other established rule of play is subject to penalty. These penalties for Glitching include:

  • First offense: Player will be temporarily suspended from playing the game online, will have their stats, Emblems, and Paintjobs reset, will have online splitscreen privileges revoked, and will have their Leaderboard entries deleted.

  • Extreme or repeat offenses: Player will be permanently suspended from playing the game online, will have their stats, Emblems, and Paintjobs reset, and will be blocked permanently from appearing in Leaderboards.
Play nice out there! Now, onto the patch notes:

Black Market now live on PC

Kind of considering this game, I miss a game where if I fancy a shooting session I can just jump on, is this like that?

And is the standard edition ok to go for, or would I be missing much from the other versions?
That's all I went for, not sure what other editions bring, probably some skins or whatever. Maybe some cod points to buy some skins when available. So, no you wont miss on anything.

I have a serious love hate relationship with blackout mode. I rarely get a kill in the game even though I hit people multiple times. Its literally the most frustrating of gaming experiences, especially when I see them first, really line up my shot and do short bursts to maximise accuracy. Seems that the weapons need a bit more balancing as the 10 round semi sniper can take down people easy at medium range, yet a ICR7 or whatever its called takes most of a clip to down 1 guy, so 2 of them and you will always get traded. I'd genuinely love a mode where they got rid of armour and halved the health pool as it would make it far more tactical and more realistic for those that like that sort of thing.

Multiplayer has the balance about right. Blackout feels like you're firing rubber bullets if they have ac. It's not just you're average player who struggles with it as well. Happens to pros if you watch their streams. I saw Viss the other day literally lock onto a guy close/mid range with an upgraded vapr and he got downed despite having level 3 ac. It's almost random at times.

I find multiplayer still has too high armour/health. Well, saying that it depends how leveled you are as the high leveled guys with the fully modded shotgun can pretty much one shot you, while it takes a low level player half a mag to kill them. The game seems to be set up to give high leveled players a steady supply of noobs to kill to make them feel superior, when it's more the fact they can one shot, while the noobs have to hit them multiple times.

Saying that I am still finding it fun. It reminds me of Quake 4 before that died on PC. I enjoyed the fast paced, frantic gameplay. Just wish there wasn't a stupid leveling system that rewards the people with no lives/jobs lol. If everyone was equal, with the same weapons, it would be a lot more fun for me.

I rarely get a kill as well. I feel like I am somehow 'behind' when it comes to hit registry. Others seem to be able to hit me from across the map while I am moving. I never, ever, win a one on one with someone and it is getting frustrating. I must be doing something wrong but I don't know what yet. It is fun to play but also annoying that I can only get top 5 by hiding!

Some of this does come down to both your and the enemies gun choice, how upgraded it is, the armour and of course aim. As an example, if your fighting someone at mid to long range and they have armour 1 level above using 7 sized rounds with you at 5, you'd come out worse more often than not even with equal aim and upgrades.

This is the first game that's genuinely made me question if I'm as good at gaming as I think I am lol. On Battlefield my aiming accuracy is absolutely fine, hell its even good on CSGO which has proper recoil! On this though, its still the same experience even a few weeks later.

Glad I am not the only one , man I cannot get a kill in this game ! Maybe we just getting too old :)
