Call of Duty Black ops 4 (PC)

Well the reason I've not bought a Switch is because the games are £40-50.
I'm still waiting to get Witcher 3 GOTY until it was about £18. Still haven't bought Fallout 4 GOTY (currently £16).

Got the Switch for my girlfriend for her birthday on release and thought the same. Having said that, I spent over 150 hours on Zelda and she spent nearly 300 on it. Probably the best value for money out there game wise when you look at it like that :)

I dunno, I've got over 700 hours on Dota 2 and that's free. 450 hours on a ~£50 game don't seem so good.

COD is what it is, Its a great game to play when you just want to come in from work and chill out blasting things. Mindless fun, with the odd not so fun experience (hackers!!)
I did promise I would never buy another COD game, then my son got his first xbox last christmas and got WW2, being away visiting family in Glasgow and Reading and away from my PC, I played it quite a bit with him. Upon returning to the house and steam, I bought it there and then. 562 hours later, I think I got my moneys worth!

My son actually played Blackout first, he wont get it for his xbox until Christmas, he's 8, fortnite nut, and plays with a controller on the PC, he does....ok lol
I took my first shot since the beta, ran the circle edge, and got a solo victory on my first try. I am now godlike in his eyes haha.

Only thing is the multiplayer maps, everyone of them(i think) is just a reskin of previous COD titles. Nothing new there, and not always a bad thing, but kinda lazy.

I'm quite liking that atm, slums is great after all these years nice to go back.

Its been so long since I've enjoyed a cod I can see this one sucking me in, I like the heist mode too, plenty of variation in this time around

As this is a more fast paced game than say Pubg, does that mean you need to use a higher sensitivity? I found i'm struggling to 180o fast enough before getting shot in the back on the free for all mode.

Got this for the boy, will play a bit of zombies while he is in bed but I find blackout really pants.

What is Blackout like playing solo? Are you up against teams or only other solo players? I'm looking desperately for something to drag me away from Siege!!

It has solo and squad/duo modes.

Am I missing something glaringly obvious with the in-game voice chat?
I cannot hear anyone, despite there speaker lighting up.

All looks OK in the settings and in the Blizzard launcher.
