Call of Duty Black ops 4 (PC)

Watching streamers, the game looks easier than PUBG. Based on Shroud having 50 wins in 140 games with 812 kills. In PUBG Shroud was a fragger but didn't get that many wins.
I guess it'll probably change over time as more people get the game, some of the bad people leave and other people get better. Streamers probably have the advantage there in that early on the get more practice than a lot of people so they improve quicker. Plus people like Shroud are obviously better than a lot of people at certain mechanics in these types of games due to his pro background.

Still been seeing a few streamers getting back-to-back wins in Blackout.

Does look good though, just wonder how much longevity the game will have for me seeing as I've played a reasonable amount of PUBG.
 
Think I dropped in a match with Ninja, he one shotted me from across the map with the Paladin.
They were setup on the dam roof.
Squad mate survived and managed to get to them, the final circle was a rooftop near the dam.

They setup a barricade above the ladder and the microwave effect killed our last member. Smart.

I hate Blackout, worse mode ever....
Yet I can't stop playing Blackout, probably put 12 hours in yesterday all for 2 wins.

The just one more round mentality of Blackout is insane, it's hard to switch the bloody thing off.
The moments it can create are equal part rage inducing and satisfying.
I gunned down 2 squad members and felt like Rambo, to be blown up 0.5 seconds later by the grenade the last guy I killed dropped at his feet.
Talk about if i go down I'm taking you with me :D
 
Does the slide have any use at all? I have remapped crouch to ctrl and set it as hold, which now means I don't slide. But is it even useful, or am I not missing out not having it?

I kept just going prone every time I tried to crouch when I had it setup the default way, which was annoying as hell.

Yes it has a lot of use and is another thing in your arsenal to confuse your opponent and lowering your profile to get into cover whilst getting shot at making you harder to hit.

Also in other modes like zombies it’s used to dodge traps/large axes being hurled straight for your face.
 
Ahh, thanks, I guess I better map it back to default then and just try to get used to pressing it rather than holding.

More down to the fact he plays FPS 15 hours a day everyday! Practice makes perfect , His Aim is amazing and rightly so with the amount of hours he puts in, we can all get to this level you just have to put the hours in everyday.
 
Has anyone used the in game voice chat?
I still cannot get it to work, I can't hear team members on either the party or default channel.
Speaker lights up to say they are talking but I can't hear them.

Audio options are all good, with correct devices listed and being used.
In fact it worked for abit on launch as someone was blasting music, but has'nt worked since.

Such a trivial thing but it's spoiling the Blackout :( and no sign of anyone else reporting audio issues.

In other news, if you flush the toilet in the Asylum dance music starts playing, and don't get lost in the Maze on the Asylum grounds, it's kinda embarrassing.
 
Very tempted, where's the cheapest place to get it from and do you need anything more than the base game?

Do not forget the custom hack (cheat software) need to keep on streamin........:)

My main game time is 1am onwards UK time, so I do use the american servers a lot, specially for Overwatch.
I might of been, but probably not, I usually remember to switch back for CoD.

In other news, I hope the disappearing reticle bug is fixed in this weeks patch, it has plagued me rotten today.
Also getting a lot of the fatal error crashes that are popping up on Reddit. Fine in regular multiplayer, but in Blackout....

Most likely cdkeys.com and yup base game is fine, you can upgrade later if you wish.
 
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's launch day digital sales on PC have more than doubled over last year's Call of Duty: World War 2. Publisher Activision describes the sales as a "new franchise high".

Expected to be honest. Would still be interested in seeing the numbers though.

If there was no BR it would not have been on my buy list, I imagine the same would go for a lot of people.
 
I swore to never buy a COD game again but Blackout seems really fun. I never played a BR game before, it is worth buying BO4 just for Blackout? Are they going to release a Blackout version of the game without the other modes?
