Call of Duty Black ops 4 (PC)

Crumbs, bit better than our effort earlier, all that could have gone wrong did!

Still enjoyed it though Tom, much better with communication.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, did you use the in-game voice chat or our Discord?
In game still not working for me, can't hear anyone, might just re-install, nothing else to try.

Will see if the earlier patch fixed it.

In game. Have you tried changing the sound output in Windows or on the game

I only have my headset to send audio too.
So I only have "headset" or "default" as options in the game.
Both give me the game audio, neither give me voice.

It's as if I have pressed a key and muted it, but it's all switched on :confused:
Or I'm simply not joining the voice channel when a game starts.

I don't think there is a voice mute toggle key anyway, (you can mute it in the menu but it's not..) if there was it would show as muted in the hud, like when you press F10 in the deployment zone so you don't have to listen to the kids punching you for a couple of mins :p.

I know it can work as my first pub match on launch day someone was blasting music, I did'nt try to mute it then, but I guess his taste was so bad my PC refuses to go in voice chat again. :(

For info, I'm on the default channel, by default.. but it's not working in party channel either.

I will re-install, maybe a .ini file went bad or something /shrugs (scan/check files did'nt fix it)
 
Must say, contrary to the last few titles, I'm actually enjoying this one. Blackout is a lot of fun and the regular MP is good for a few quick games if you don't have much time. There's no wall-walking or spammable jet packs which is definitely a plus.
 
This being my first Cod game since Cod 1+2 I have to say I'm not a fan of all these special abilities. It seems really strange for a PVP game to have an AI dog that has god mode enabled, that runs around the map one shotting everyone. I don't mind being killed by another player, but being killed by AI when you were doing well is annoying.

My settings, if it helps. Had issue with not hearing anyone in game until i fiddled a little:

Dog's pretty easy to kill I find.

Thanks, that's adsactly how mine is set-up.
It's starting to get mentioned on the Blizzard forums now as well, so I'm not alone.
Some people simply don't hear voice chat despite it being setup correct, using the default channel etc.

Xbox users as well, so it might be a server side thing?
Hopefully patched soon..
