Call of Duty: Black Ops

Need to arrange playing a few games chaps, I shall be on this evening more than likely.
Oh and for the record, Silenced AUG or Famas all the way :p (though I do dabble in a little AK74u if I'm feeling bored).
 
Well I managed to go from level 30th 4th prestige to level 17 5th over the double xp w/e. Not bad considering I was out two nights :)

Not sure what to make of the new maps really. I like Berlin wall but the no go area is a bit meh. You just cant go there, theres no risk reward to it so whats the point? (or am I missing something?).

no you arent missing anything. its pointless though it is amusing to throw a care package out there
 
Backing out all night isnt fun! Youd think on a weekends play that every map would come up at least once. I guess it has a lower appearance ratio or something.

I like it because its a bit mad and crazy. Mixes the game up a bit. Theres noobs and noobish things on every map but cest la vie.

I would swap care package for napalm. As care packages. Are usually rubbish!!!

Also I would be tempted to run with hardline. With the kill streaks. Suggested. As if you can manage 3 kills then die each time. Most of the time their radar will be jammed. But maybe ghost would be a good start.

If your going the silenced route. I would also suggest trying galil.

And dual mags. I would swap out for extended mags.

Killstreaks are RCXD, Naplam and Mortar Team

Never ever manage to get Naplam or Mortar team however, i usually day after 3 kills. Currently averaging 0.7 K:D Ratio :(

I've no idea what sensitivity is best to use, What do you guys reckon ?

Also you seem to Aim down the sights a lot when people in your face, when instead you should hip fire since the enemy is doing exactly that when they killed you.

Here's a class for you to try out as well
AK-47 w/Silencer & Dual mags (silencer keeps you off the mini-map and dual mags gives you a faster reload with 150 spare ammo instead of 90)
Ghost Pro (hides you from the UAV's and airsupport which helps you survive and get the drop on people)
Warlord Pro (for the 2 attachments and extra grenades)
Hacker Pro (simply because the rest are poo, except maybe Marathon)

Killstreaks
UAV
Counter UAV
Care package

And fill in the blanks with what ever you want.

I've got another class with Ghost Pro, Warlord Pro and Ninja Pro.


Use it with an AK47 with silencer and extended mags, and a strela for the choppers.

Still makes no difference.

I just find i hit even less and do less damage with the silencer :(

Finished a game this afternoon on TDM on Stadium 1 - 11 :rolleyes: some bloke with an L96 was owning me left right and centre. I got mad and made it my mission to take him out, but every time he got the drop on me. Finished 18 - 0 and called in dogs, chopper gunner and the lot.
 
i dont get how fast some people can be on the xbox. i simply cannot do things fast enough. aim assist doesnt seem to help and i dont seem to be improving. lucky to finish a game with a 0.5kdr

beginning to annoy me to the point of giving up.

I found MW2 on PS3 a whole lot easier to play don't get me wrong there are good players on the console but less than the 360 has. I can't explain exactly how but the feel of the game is different and it just seems like the skill overall is lower on that platform (again I'm not saying that PS3 players suck just there are not AS MANY good players on the platform from my experience of playing both)

Ghost, sleight of hand (which I really like) and hacker.

Any suggestions on the perks? Not sure if ghost is the best one to have?

It could be the game screwing you over, you will find even with slight of hand pro (faster ADS) other players can aim and fire faster than you can even with the drop on them, it's just the way the game handles lag.

i do find my net conection pretty poor. i get 3 bars at best. ads is affected by sleight of hand you say? well if u cant beat em.
