Disgusting when you think about how much money they've made, same graphics, same game play, same greedy price even after years of a game being out, shows exactly the sort of business they're running!

This is why you generally don't preorder anymore unless it's on the cheap! It's because of people that are buying the full price and supporting companies like this that they can get away with it.

Whole new levels of lazy... MW2 ending on the left, Ghosts cutscene on the right...
And stuff 99% of it in their pockets, Next gen on pc my arse.
Activision made its day one COD sales announcement today just 36 hours after launch. This is sooner than similar announcements made for previous games in the series. Kotick claims it's "too early to assess sell-through" of Ghosts. Then why make the announcement now if not to avoid having to talk about numbers?
That really has got be a taking the ****. Like I said earlier, I am totally unsurprised by the issues people are seeing with the game, as this is not the first time it has happened.
As someone mentioned in the comments of that video, it's shocking to see all this lazy copy-and-paste programming given the large amounts of money they have available to really innovate things. As long as people keep buying it, they will keep doing it. I just wish reviewers especially would take some responsibility and give an honest review (with an honest rating) on all this, rather than all the bum licking that goes on year after year. It won't necessarily be enough purely on its own, but it's a start.

I'm no COD fan, haven't bought the last couple but I don't really see it as a big issue. If this was copy/pasting maps etc then yes I'd see the point in grumbling but this is a part of the game, some animation which was copied and it's in a cut scene? I really don't see the problem.
Do people really think games are done from scratch these days? they'll re-use animation elements wherever they can, same goes for textures, sound effects and physics etc.
