Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (2022)

I've demolished about 4 games in a row, sometimes i think i'm in games with bots as i'm pretty rubbish. So many people just hiding in corners.
 
Jesus ******* Christ have they changed the spawns? Just played a game on Embassy and must have been killed within about 3 seconds of spawning about 15 times...
 
I've been running and gunning with akimbo auto pistols tonight, yeah I die lots but it's pretty funny when you manage to double or even triple kill on a hard point or domination point .

I used to only play hardcore on MW 2019 so I'm getting my daft guns ready for when they actually release tier 1.

Starting to find my groove and actually having some good games where I'm top of my team at least, 30+ kills while sprinting about like an idiot isn't too bad, I hate that boarder map though! Think I like the Race track the best for some reason.

That's the map I was having issues with dying just after spawning. Seems it's a huge issue on that map for some reason.

Yeah, it must be. Never had that much of an issue on other maps. Had another couple of Embassy rounds and it was so bad that I straight-up quit whenever I got put into one on that map.
 
Played a fair bit more and I’m enjoying it a lot. Seem to be playing the same few maps over and over on TDM though. Lobbies are still hit and miss with regard to ping/lags/hit reg but the pace of the game does help to reduce the side effects a bit.

Anyone know how many maps there are for TDM?

Also, I’m having a really weird phenomenon where I occasionally see team players in blue then they change to red and kill me. Definitely a thing and not a trick of the eye.

Is this a bug or some kind of perk/ability?

Must be a bug, I've not noticed it myself though
 
Ive been dieing so much going back to playing TDM etc when was on Invasion mainly in the top 3 to top 10 most of the time.

Watching jackfrags latest video tonight he seems to say just dont sprint around seems that has died you got to be more methodical and slower on this Cod.

Pretty weird trying to stop that out of my game as ive been a run and gunner for years now.

I never was and then got decent at it with MW2019 which I spent way too much time with.

Trying to transition back isn't easy, I tend to have my best games when I'm able to really read the match and flank or just have a real good understanding of where the other team is going to be in the next 15 seconds.

Everyone is levelling their snipers on invasion at the minute. I know I am. Once I have the Spr X unlocked I'm going back to leveling the MP5 and the Taq assault rifle.

And there's me trying to level up the X12 pistol just to get the solid blue camo :cry: The X12 is seriously bad too, it's almost a 4 shot kill to start with. I should really wait for Hardcode, but I love a blue camo :D
 
I’m trying to level up a battle rifle on the M4 platform and OMG I’m so bad with it.

Need a clean headshot really, otherwise the TTK with the ROF with almost all enemies means you just get spanked.

I’ve managed to get it to level 3 and it’s been like pulling teeth so the idea of getting it to level 20 is making me want to not bother! But I want the better attachments for my base M4 to make it even more beastly. Grrr. The grind is real! :p

Battle Rifles are just in the game to get in the way of getting the actual good guns I think.

They will probably be good for Warzone but not for this.

What is silly is that if you switch to full auto your rifle does less damage (!!) and because kicks like a mule it’s like a double penalty because you struggle to stay on target.

Stupid attachment unlock mechanism. Makes me sad and bitter! :p

I've found the easiest way to level up the battle rifles is to use an Overkill class with a gun I like as primary and the battle rifle as secondary. Then every time I capture an objective or sit on a hardpoint or plant a bomb I just swap to the battle rifle!

Somehow managed to get the FTAC Recon to level 7 in 5 games without firing a single bullet with it!
 
Or just sit in a vehicle on Ground War, with a launcher as a secondary and smash their helicopters and UAVs every time one spawns. Drive around hoovering up infantry and flags. 2.5-3K every round easily, which isn't all that much but when you're trying to level the Lachman 762 and it's absolute **** it's easier than trying to kill with it :p
 
I didn't know they did less damage in auto than single shot. I'm sure the Lachman was a 2 hit kill in both auto and single shot. I found it best to level them up on certain maps, like the one with the water, as most the sight lines aren't too long so the massive recoil is less of an issue. Especially if playing domination and hanging around the A or B flag.

I've unlocked most of the guns I want to now but I am looking forward to hardcore as it should make it far easier to level up some of the guns.
 
Hmm. There is meant to be a big patch today. Not sure when it is due out. I thought it had already been released, but I was wrong about the Xbox Series X at keast.
