Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (2022)

First time i've played a shooter on a console for a couple years. My god I can't aim to save my life, I swear I was never quite this bad

Holy ****…this game is even worse today connection wise. No bullet registration at all in ground war yet I’m dead before I even know whats happening.

I am 90% bordering on not even bothering with CoD anymore at this rate if the full game is going to be like this, I thought GW would be the saviour but it’s even worse than core game modes

What people go to perks?

Hate the gun unlock system I want the Mp5 but got to use Lahmann battle rifle to unlock its a chore when you got kids running around with smg blitzing you.

Connection are an issue feels like im shooting on kill cam I can see bullets going in but not registering.

Perks, i start a new class with Hunter (i think) it gives you Dead Silence before you unlock it, then Phantom as the perk package.

I unlocked the MP5 without using the Battle Rifle. If you set the shotgun as primary and then change the perk package to one with 2 primary guns (overkill?), the 2nd primary defaults to the Lehmann 556, the MP5 unlocks from that too.

I made it to level 30 (half on PS5, half on Series X) and ended up unlocking all the guns from the M4 & Lehmann and played through almost all of them. I enjoyed the beta other than losing so many one on one's i should have won, probably latency.

The x13 & scar blueprints were both quite good to use.

I cancelled my preorder, I did it just for the early access on PS5, had some fun, but the maps and general feel felt exactly like MW2019 to me, will wait now and see how it is after release and decide. I prefer BF really, just a shame 2042 was so ****.

I haven’t preordered yet (won a code watching CDL and got an Xbox code via Sky VIP) so thankfully I have nothing to cancel, for me it feeling exactly like MW19 is a huge win because I love that game, however connection issues have made me consider just holding off a day or so to see what feedback comes out if it was just a beta issue or it’s made it to the full game

I've never played these 'spec ops' before, can you level up and unlock weapons, attachments and all that jazz playing them?

Just finished the Campaign, was pretty good with some fun missions, and one mission i truly hated.

I played about an hour of the campaign last night and enjoyed what I played. It sure does look nice. Safe to say they've definitely upped their game in the graphics department.

The wife is out with friends tonight, just need to get the kids in bed and I've got a clear undisturbed evening to dig into this, looking forward to it.

Mixed feelings about the campaign so far, played around two hours and uhm…yeah it looks pretty but I’m not sure on the missions.

Follow dude, check room, clear room, follow dude upstairs, check rooms, clear rooms…rinse repeat

I didn't enjoy the driving mission, dragged on a bit. I hope there's not too much of that in the rest of the game. TBH I'm only really playing the single player mode for the multiplayer operator and blueprint unlocks.

I've just done finished the driving mission and it's easily the worst of the game by far. I am enjoying the campaign it feels a lot like a movie with how the story is being told.

Agreed, I've played the first 5 missions and if I'm honest I'm bored :(

Campaign beaten, parts I didn't enjoy were when it took guns away and made me craft, traps etc.

It never felt like it fit, utter baffling development choice

Finished it on veteran enjoyed most of it bar the driving section it was awful. Also I too wasn't keen on the levels that required you to craft stuff.
