I tend to play WZ tbh. I have it off now but I can't really notice much of a difference? Out of curiosity what are the best settings to use on this game with a 1080ti @ 1440p? Interesting to know which settings kill fps and have little bearing! I'm probably going to upgrade to a Ryzen 4000 system this year or early next year, not sure if my 4790k is hindering me these days. Is this game CPU heavy?
Texture resolution - VRAM dependent, little to no FPS impact. High will be fine.
Texture filter - little to no FPS impact. High will be fine.
Partical quality - try Low. Again in actual gameplay the difference is pretty small, you're only going to notice the difference when examining screenshots / videos.
Bullet impacts and Sprays - enabled, little to no FPS impact.
Tessellation: Small FPS impact, can cause dips on lower end systems when the scene changes - entering a new building or leaving one for example.
Shadow resolution - try high or normal. The differences are pretty small when in actual gameplay vs the FPS cost.
Cache Spot Shadows / Sun shadows - enabled can help keep things smooth if you have a lot of VRAM.
Raytracing - off for performance, extremely high FPS hit when enabled.
Ambient Occlusion - off for performance, reasonably high FPS hit when enabled.
Screen Space Reflection - off for performance, reasonably high FPS hit when enabled.
AA: Off for best performance but looks like ****, one of the SMAA T2X options is worth the FPS hit.
Everything else is preference. What works for you will be a mix, its really up to you how much visual stuff you want to turn down for more frames.
