Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

When will blizzard ever sort this mess out. Everytime there's a patch its a mess of people downloading at less than 1 MB/s it's a joke!

I didn't use a VPN, or do any of this pause/unpause/stand on one leg stuff.. I just switched to Asia and it downloaded roughly inline with what speed I'd normally expect.

All done now.

EDIT - Cynical me might wonder if some of the ISPs are throttling, hence some people are seeing improved speeds with a VPN, but as above I didn't do anything and it downloaded fine for me.

I gave up honestly. I hate to beat on things, but these patches are insane. I would love to see the amount of players lost due the fact that you go to play a quick match and your greeted with a 20gb+ patch that doesnt download properly

Mine is going so slow and I really want to play tonight.

My Friend on PS4 said his finished in 40 minutes.

I'm on PC, living in the same city and same ISP as him and it's still got 37gbs to go after 5 hours.

How do activision blizzard keep getting away with this poor service, if this was Bethesda people would be in an uproar and posting videos galore.
 
Just signed up for a month of PIA as I was considering it anyway and this was the tipping point for me to try a VPN..

9MB/s using a canadian server..(my internets max)

Oh so you have to subscribe to a VPN first? And pay for it?

I've never done this before, I thought it was a free. :confused:

Mine won't even download at 100kb, stuck on 0 :(
