Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

Download speeds better this morning. Didn't realise the patch was out yesterday so when to game at 22:00 and crawling at 100kb/s

It's a shame the infrastructure seems to struggle with this (although a 45gb 'update' is obscene) but I've seen a lot of games use torrents to improve situations like this. Better yet have the update client torrent share whilst updating and you have capacity increase during peak periods for free.
 
Wow. What a camperfest Rumble is. If you do get down you are taken out by one of the many snipers lined up across the map. It is like Blackpool illuminations with the sheer number of glints that you can see.

Try flanking round the very outside of the map, get up to the roof of the tallest building and just wait for them to parachute down on to the roof in front of you. Just make sure you have lots of ammo because they will keep parachuting down, take up sniper position and be completely oblivious to your presence.

I really hope they will do something to stop this sniper bound mode as it should be great. Very much like ground war in multiplayer.
 
I joined for a couple of games of Rumble and I dont understand how they could create a map like that and assume it isnt just going to be sniper/camper madness.

I thought it was quite fun. I joined and immediately thought it resembled trenches with two lines of enemies firing at each other with no-mans land in the middle. A few do try charging towards the enemy but get wiped out quickly
I tried it in a jeep and got to their front line then took out 3 people with my Holger and Thermite before getting sniped up close :D
 
Does anyone know how to clear up this blurry text on Warzone? I've tried multiple things and it still looks like ****, note the text in the bottom left hand corner and subtitles.

I like Rumble. Lots of snipers but easy enough to avoid most of the time and plenty of action up close.
Also worth flanking around the edge and taking some out.

Seems like the crate weapons are a bit more varied

Yes it is clear from the intro and the Intel missions we are heading to that other place mentioned. The large download is probably to allow it to be easily switched over I guess?
 
Another free MP weekend but Plunder seems to have disappeared completely. I just don't like BR and Rumble is just OK for a quick ten minute blast. So much unnecessary tinkering with this game.

STALWART - that is the name of the worst gun I have seen in any game. It's called an 'assault rifle' but it's useless, burst fire, and I just hit a guy like nine times with the ironically named pea-shooter and he still didn't go down. Avoid it like the plague.
