Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

Seems better than before for me (2080Ti too) 3440x1440, highest settings. 70-90fps most of the time, 90fps limit

Just had a few games of mini trios with randoms and did quite well. A couple of 1st and one 4th
Suprisingly easy communicating with people speaking difference languages and no English at all. As long as you spot enemies, assist each other with armour and stuff it's all good

Are you literally maxed out on everything? Including raytracing? Depth of Field? Shadows etc?
Why 90fps limit bud?

(youve got a 4790k right?)

Yup and correct, all setting and system setting below. 90fps limit as using 100hz gsync monitor. If you set it higher then it sometimes jumps above 100fps still causing sync issues

Cheers Guest!
70-90fps in vanilla or WZ?

I find WZ hits GPU must more than in vanilla.
WZ. Just had a quick solo, didnt do too bad. 5 kills. I was supposed to get a few more screenshots but forgot

Let me know if you want any of certain areas, sure there will some that will drop fps lower than 70. I find Atlas Superstore in areas to by the most taxing but sems better after the patch. MP wise, Picadilly is the only map that drops fps to 60s, just seems to by by a car in the middle of the map for some reason

It's not just sync issues but also reports of minimal lag... However 10 frames under is a bit much, on my 144hz Gsnyc I set 143, so try 99fps limit :)

Don't worry, I have.
Literally tried 99,98,97 etc. all the way down to 90. Even 91 I will sometimes see fps hitting 101 and sync issues. Just works having 90 for me. Even setting it globally in Nvidia panel to 91fps it would go slightly over 100. Maybe it just works in 10s?!?

How odd!

It depends on the frame limiter you are using Guest2 I believe.
Which one are you using? NCP? Ingame?

I actually switched to the RivaTuner one.. and set it to 117 (120Hz panel).

Incidentally, dont you find having everything turned on interferes with your "competitiveness" level compared to others probably running at 1080p, lowest settings, above 200fps etc?

In game and tried NCP

Probably, but then i've never played at 1080p with all settings on lowest to get 200fps.
I like my games looking nice and playing nice instead of like a game from the early 2000 era like SOF2 or Medal of honour!
Plays perfectly fine at 90fps and looks great. I can still win games with my puny 90fps (BR and MP) Console players certainly dont have 90fps and doubt it looks as good either

Give Rivatuner a whirl.
I just increase my settings for shadow, raytracing on etc.
Looks a bit more nicer but definitely seeing a hit on FPS on certain maps.
But others Im still getting my full 117fps with full settings suprisingly.

I would recommend trying Rivatuner to eek out that few more FPS, I am sure your 2080Ti/4790k can give you more fps for sure.

I had Rivatuner for years, some games it completely broke them using the overlay, or using Rivatuner at all. Uninstalled as it wasnt worth the hassle

Not sure why people are bothered about me getting an extra few fps if im getting 70-90 with maxed setting in Warzone anyway. Id much rather have 80-90 or 85-90 constant. If you can sort that out then great. (Not by changing cpu, motherboard, ram!)

Oh hey bud, each to their own! Youve helped me a lot when I first got my 2080Ti and just wanted to return the favour :) We were benching against each other on Heaven, just wanted you to eke out as much as you can from your rig :)

How come rivatuner was a hassle for you?

By the way, do you really see much difference with ray tracing on? I honestly cant lol. But still have it on.

Because different people want different things. I use a GTX 1080 at 1440p with everything on low to get the best FPS possible, get 100-120 and want more.

I've currently got a Vega 56 which is undervolted and overclocked a bit runing at 1440P with some settings on medium, Some high.
Normal MP I'm getting between 90-110FPS and warzone must be around 80-90fps. I'm quite happy with that.

Certain games would randomly just crash to desktop. Took a while but found someone saying overlays in rivatuner was the culprit.

Thanks for suggestions, i’ll definately look at getting more fps if (when) i swap my monitor for a 120 / 144hz screen.

Honestly no, but it hardly changes fps with it off so just leave it on in case patches improve anything rtx related

Gotcha Guest, good point about the 120/144Hz!

Sorry for another question, is it me or does "Gsync" seem to become "unsynced" whenever it dips below 70fps?
