Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

Just started downloading Warzone so I can see what all the hype is about.

I guess I'm late to the party, do I have any chance getting a few kills or is everyone a pro by now? Any general tips for someone who is just starting?

Drop in named locations so you get used to gun fights and the ttk. Don't worry about dying etc, main aim is get better at fights. After you can handle yourself then you need to find a loadout you like and level the gun(s) up and equip the correct attachments to make it the most viable. Google the best attachments. I would also recommend running a heartbeat sensor in your loadout. Everyone has different playstyles but I like to use the money I find on mostly UAVs and also a self revive. Lastly, run ghost as your no2 perk. I am by no means anywhere close to great at the game so I'm sure others will have better tips.

Play rebirth as the penalty for dying in that is lower than in Battle Royal. Skill ceiling is high and TTK is very low with everyone running meta weapons so it can be frustrating.

It's still happening when loading stopping power rounds for me.
If you try to reload (stopping power or normal) and do some other action mid reload like switch weapon if will cancel it. Do a normal reload and it'll be fine
The bug/issue with cold war guns before was when reloading you ended up with no ammo at all so a full reload was required

Yeah thats the one when doing anything whilst reloading. I have to stand still to reload.

Ive just been playing private matches with some friends tonight. So much fun. Really enjoying private matches just now.

Edit: yeah raven don't know their a*se from their elbow.

I was using Reflex in game menu but was getting the occasional tearing with gysnc and vsync on. I disabled Reflex from the in game menu and haev enabled fps limit of 97 in Nvidia control panel. Much better now, no tearing at all.
NCP - Vsync on, Gsync on, Low latency mode off
In game menu - Vsync off, Reflex off, FPS unlimited

So basically the same settings as I posted the other day? :D :D . Most people turn all those low latency and reflex modes off, cause more trouble than they are worth :(
Yep, I did try them initially and didnt seem much different but there was occasional tearing with reflex enabled.
Why even bother creating modes like low latency and reflex in game options if they dont work!?

I prefer games of the 90s when you had basic options to check controls and just start :)

Those modes were mostly developed for APEX and Fortnight, then forked over to Warzone... Which is naff :(

Games started putting me in really sweaty lobbies for some reason. Constantly being tracked on bounties by aggressive players, everyone going for scavenger runs and I can barely get out of the plane with any armour left lol. If I stand still for a split second whilst hiding anywhere there's always a sniper who pops my melon from the other side of the map it seems.

Struggling to even get a loadout at the minute.
Same here!
It's really annoying, we're getting put in platinum 1 and diamond lobbies, our average KD is around .80 to 1.1
Every gunfight seems to be hard work, it reminds me a bit like PubG when you've got the guns you want and get into the zone and then out of nowhere a team just comes in and wipes you out, then look on SBMM and their average KD is around 2.5 and they've killed around 30 between them.

My KD is 0.90 currently. When I play with a mate in Duos who is around 1.0 KD we are usually placed in gold lobbys and do quite well.

However, when I play with other console mates who who have 0.40 - 0.60 KD we are put in silver and bronze lobbys.
Most of the time they end up dieing quickly, leaving me to take on whole teams by myself which is hard work. There is definately a big divide between 0.5 KD and 1.0 KD. The movement speed, aim speed and general decisions (like when to run / take cover / push) are all quite poor and spectating can be frustrating. That said, I often just go on for a chat and a laugh so im not fully in the zone like in gold / diamond lobbys

Average KD across the player base is ~0.7 I think, so with a KD of 1.0 you're above average.

Only a very small % of players have a KD over 2

JGOD has a breakdown of the data a few minutes into this video:
