Downloaded and played a few rounds of MW multiplayer last night for the first time in a long time - think I last played during S3
I forgot how much fun it is. Had me both squealing like a little girl with laughter and also cussing expletives at the monitor.

Vsync will probably cause the floaty feeling on the 980, think it does say that in game.Those modes were mostly developed for APEX and Fortnight, then forked over to Warzone... Which is naff
No nothing to do with Vsync as I have that turned off on my brothers system (980 GTX)...
Turned out it was Geforce Experience even with shadow play disabled, turn it off, wolla instant mouse response
In terms of the Gsync and Vsync system being ON in NV control panel, that's supposed to be that way, hence why it's instant on the RTX 2070 system.

I feel your pain. Watching mates on controllers, some move and aim like the controller is stuck in a bucket of tar. So slooooooooowThen they moan about "how did he see me first" and "he had no recoil, cheating" Guess that's why their KD is around 0.4 - 0.5.
Another mate with a KD of 1.0 is a lot faster and makes generally better decisions - when and where to run, when to push etc.

Warzone is TOTALLY different in lower SBMM brackets. It's actually a lot more fun so I think I'm gonna stick with this and be the bait/damage tank for them.

Sounds suspect are you sure you weren't banned from recent ban wave?
I've heard of this. 2.0 KD players with new accounts jumping into bronze 4 lobbies to fuller everyone.
Like getting into low player count Egyptian lobbys using a VPN so that most players and new, then devistating about half of them

Hey guys, can anyone who has fixed their crashing please offer a solution.
This game has been crashing on and off for me since release. Sometimes I go weeks or months without crashing but at the moment the crashing is back.
Now it's crashing almost every game in Warzone.
I even formatted my m.2 yesterday and reinstalled windows 10 + all updates + latest Nvidia drivers for my RTX 2080 but it's still crashing, it made no difference at all.
I get those stupid dev errors and it's so annoying.
A normal night for me, lets say I play 10 games with my friend in duo's it will crash 4/10 games at least. But the games it doesn't crash the game runs flawless, butter smooth.
It's really frustrating because I enjoy Warzone a lot but this really spoils it for me.
I have all overlays disabled, I change priority to normal in task manager, I don't have any other programs running in background like msi afterburner etc.
Can you guys think of anything? Anything at all? I'm willing to try anything at this point.
Oh and I don't have any parts of my PC overclocked, I don't ever overclock.
And all other games such as Apex, Metro Exodus, GTA5, Doom Eternal, Cyberpunk etc all running perfect with no crashing. It's only Warzone where I have this issue.

I've heard of people underclocking their GPU with similar issues with good results.
My brother had constant crashes with an RX590 (Dev error 6068) so returned it and bought a RX580 instead. Not one crash since. Can you try a different GPU?

I didn't think about that, good idea, I don't currently have another GPU to test but I might be able to borrow one from my cousin so I'll ask him if he could post me one and then I'll test it out.
I read online just now someone said to disable antivirus so I'll try that too.
No crashes for a few weeks for me;
Use Display driver uninstaller to get rid of 461.XX driver and install 460.89. I have friends who crash out almost every game, they are using 461.XX
Do not install Geforce experience
Do not use Riva tuner stats server to use in game overlays. MSI afterburner can still be used and is fine.
As you are on a 2080, 445.87 drivers worked perfect for me when using a 2080 Ti, even using Geforece experience and filters. 445.87 are not supported on 30XX cards
Uninstalling Geforce Experience was the best thing I ever did! Even with the overlay and shadow play mode disabled, it still likes to get in the way.. I was having awful mouse lag with it on the 980 GTX system, had to uninstall it
