Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

Got my first Obsidian Skin yesterday. Didn't realise but I was really close with the Striker 45 so decided to use it for the last few days and finally got it.

It's quite ugly.

Yeah high gain and I use Dolby Atmos too.
Maybe just sounds a good bit different being fairly flat open back headphones compared to the closed dt1770?
Yeh, I was blown away by the bass or a better word 'impact' of the closed 1770s compared to the open 702s I had before. Not as wide a soundstage but still good and great positioning.
They are a certainly a lot more in your face bass/sub bass wise and are a lot louder than the 702s. Strangely they're rated at 250Ω and are a lot easier to drive than the 702s which are rated at only 62Ω

I'll certainly give it another go with a bassier headphone anyway.
I think my DT990 is easier to drive than the K702 also. Probably due to the 702s low sensitivity.

Had some good games today, rather enjoyed myself tonight.

I always thought higher sensitity were harder to driver. e.g. 62Ω easier that 100 / 250 / 600

Me too, had a couple of good trios

I think its low impedence and low sensitivity that makes them hard to drive. The G6 should cover most bases anyway.

Hopefully be good games on it tonight too, I tend to find that the weekends are a bit more of a sweat fest.

The buy stations only appear when you’re within about 50m of them. Either a bug or some new ‘feature’
1 second of google searching

https://www.dexerto.com/call-of-dut...buy-station-bug-in-november-3-update-1691107/

Personally I quite like it. Means it’s harder to get UAVs, loadout and everything else. Killing people with ground loot weapons is tougher and teams drop more money (as they need to search to find the buy stations)

yeah i see, once playing they appear. i presume it is to stop people picking where to land, i thought it was broken at first.

Its a bug according to the article

Warzone devs address broken Buy Stations

It didn’t take long for devs Raven Software to catch wind of the bug, and posted a tweet about it within hours.

Confirming that the change was not intentional, Raven simply said that “It’s a bug and we’re looking into it.”

other way around. Low impedence are easier to drive (50 ohm and under usually) hence being headphones designed for use with smartphones without a headphone amp or DAC.
Higher impedence (250 ohm +) are better for home listening where a DAC / headphone amp is available. Resolution and finer details usually in the higher impedence headphones, but you need the extra drive for them. Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic and probably others offer headphones in different ranges, i.e 32-, 250-, and 600-ohm version of the DT990s. The 32 are for 'on the go' listening.
250ohm is still sort of middle ground with some studio headphones going to 600 or 800 ohm

Someone please correct me if i'm talking rubbish here and it's the other way around. Pretty certain i'm correct

Yeh, the G6 should be good upto about 300 ohm, maybe a bit higher. Most basses :p:D

Yes that's quite true what you have said but it varies with differing sensitivity and impedence. The K702 being low sensitivity is what makes them harder to drive even though they are low impedence.

Whos playing what just now? We are quite liking Rebirth at the minute although one of the team detests it.

Is there an infinite silent footsteps glitch/bug/hack going about? I've just seen two teams across two games that were moving like it was active with no footsteps for the couple of minutes I spectated.

You can keep track of known issues on their Trello board https://trello.com/b/ZgSjnGba/warzone

Currently bugged buy stations and ground loot is terrible, no ammo or money.
The ground loot is quite funny that moment, 10 scavenger contracts within about 50m, train station there were around 100 flash and stun grenades on the ground floor. I found no armour or money at all then found 1 plate and 15k within 20m :D

3 games on duos played last night at pure sweat time, 21:30. Came 1st, did rubbish in the next game then came a very close 2nd. The OTS9 needs a damage nerf, its so overpowered at close range. Love it, but also everyone is running it with a long range AR or K31

I see they took away Shoot the Ship :(

Re the sound thing, I'm using K702s with a G6 and the studio reference setting does sound too muffled. I can get the volume high enough no problem but it still doesn't sound good. Boost high is the clearest, although it does sound too trebley a lot of the time.

I did have some guy run up and kill me repeatedly with the knife the other day. Full sprint, no dead silence, no footsteps. I had a whinge about it in chat then left the game :p
