Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

Is anyone else annoyed at how quiet choppers are when they are right ontop of you.

I don't think it's a decent game mechanic when a chopper can literally sneak up on you and chop you up from behind....

I’ve been on vanguard quite a bit today and I’m enjoying it. Movement is similar to mw19/warzone which is good. Plays a bit more like Cold War as in not as campy as mw19. There’s lots of maps so will take a while to learn them.
I don’t mind paying £50, even if it was just to level guns up tbh. The amount of time I spend playing WARZONE it’s well worth it. WARZONE might be free to play, but it’s not free to make/run/update, so if no one spent money they would just stop.

Similar thinking to me. Well, I paid £30 for Modern Warfare but combined Warzone and MW I've played for just over 1000 hours!! Who cares there are 'a few' cheaters, its still a great game to play especially with mates and the first game I've ever played that's cross platform and easy to connect up with PC/PS/XBox
I didnt buy Cold War but may still buy Vanguard. The audio is gash on Vanguard however

Yeah vanguard will be a bit of causal shooting but no doubt these 100 year old guns will soon become meta with there bottle top sights and and bolt action mechanisms :D

The ground loot system does seem messed up at the moment after the update. There are 8000 proxy mines, claymores, c4 and scopes littered all over.
A quads sweat team stormed out house, to their surprise we had 8 mines downstairs and trophy systems out. They made it to the stairs before getting proxy grenaded and BBQd by sticks of thermite. It did attracted the attention of every other team close by but was fun

We all said this the other day. Thompson outdoing the MP5 and people running around at full speed with a Bren LMG :D

I only hope they have all 'real' weapons and weapon names instead of made up ones. How hard would it have been to call the M13 the 'Sig'

If you're prepared to spend a bit, the G6 should drive a fair bit louder and is on offer on B stock - https://uk.creative.com/p/b-stock/sound-blasterx-g6-b-stock
Stick the G3 on eBay (or MM on here) to get a bit of cost back

G6 and Beyerdynamic 1770 here. Volume can go so loud on reference I need to turn it down

I've got a G6 at home which I use as a DAC and mic input along with an Asgard 3 amp.

The G3 is just in my laptop bag for on the go gaming, it seems to go plenty load at about 40-50% in Windows but studio reference seems to kill it.

I did notice it sounded louder after a restart of the game once swapping though so perhaps a bug?

Bit the bullet and bought Vanguard last night. 1st impressions are - what a steaming pile of ****! Movement seems to be way too fast for starters, and every game I've been in have been an absolute spam fest, which the scoreboards mirror. Not that I'm amazing at any game but from the very little I've played of this, at least compared to NW19, there seems to zero skill involved, every game has been a case of kill, be killed, spawn, kill, be killed, spawn, so on and so forth, mind numbing! Refund requested.

Why dont you try the G6 instead of the G3 using the studio reference setting?

I did, Same thing on my Desktop. The G6 is my home setup, The G3 is in my offshore bag.
Are, so no difference in volume from G3 to G6 with Warzone studio reference settings? May aswell keep using the G3

With my G6 and 1770s it's certainly loud enough on studio reference. It didnt get as loud on my AKG 702s but still loud enough on studio reference setting. Boost high to me sounds crap, I tried it again tonight

Yeah, I didn't crank it up to 100% on the G6 mind you.
Yeah, usually takes me a week or so to adapt to a new audio setting.
I had been using boost high for months, switched to boost and now it sounded like I was underwater with everything not sounding as clean.

High or low gain on the G6? I always keep it on high but have volume dropped a bit in Sound Blaster Command. Headphone volume is quite low, maybe 4/10.
I'll adjust volume on the in line remote if I need to

Oh, I also use Dolby Atmos for Headphones all the time
