Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

Never had one crash in 100s of hours of gameplay mate. I've never clocked my pc since I built it, this is the first one I've never clocked. Never had a pc run so problem free in any game.
The game really exposes unstable CPU and GPU overclocks FYI. More so that benchmarking in things like Cinebench and 3d mark.
I had many crashes when attempting CPU overclocking and GPU overclocking / undervolting. Also using Geforce experience with sharpening filters would crash after ~20 minutes. Undervolting the GPU also was not great and caused a couple of full system shutdowns, I expect it needed to boost and hit higher voltages but couldnt.
I run overclocked RAM now (3600MHz C16 @3800MHz C14) but stock 5800X and stock 3080FE. The temps on my 3080FE are low and never go about 66c playing Warzone. I do however lock FPS to 97 and play at 3440 x 1440, maxed setings expect DOF and blur things.

Here's my full Warzone settings

There's easily another 20-30FPS by changing some of those but I guess if you're on 100hz there isnt a lot of point.

Biggest one for me was dropping AA completely. Its not as pretty but it feels so much smoother and got about a 15fps boost.

Yeh, not much point. Unlimited it runs at about 115 -150fps but feels worse than limiting it to gsync refresh (well just under) If I had a 144Hz screen then I would look into tweaking settings more

I'm getting some sort of memory leak. I get a virtual memory error on the hour since upgrading to a 3090 although the update happened then as well.

I've monitored vram 24 gig, ram 32 gig and virtual page file that never gets used due to having 32 gig of ram. Strange one really.

Where did you get that settings file from? Maybe it's my ray tracing? I've got that maxed out....

I can't work out the issue though as I'm monitoring it all and it never runs out of memory from what I can see.

Warzone is the only game it happens on too. Everything running at stock apart from my ram that is xmp1 3600.

I'm getting between 145 and 165fps. Maxed out with performance dlss.

Takes a good 7-8+hrs of the game running for mine to crash with memory sync symptoms, yours is crashing consistently after just an hour? You can try lowering the VideoMemoryScale a bit to say 0.6 as I've always found perf to be ropey at the default but that is on a 3080. I normally play at 3840x1620 with DLSS off or 3840x2160 with DLSS perf and in game capped at 116.

Created it myself based in notepad. Could be RT, disable it it's not used as far as im aware, at least in Multiplayer.

Give those settings a try and run Nvidia driver only

I'll give this a go. This game is a funny one. I've just lowered everything to the lowest graphics settings the game has and it has less FPS then if I have everything maxed out :D

It's always an hour. I've tried lowering the video scale and that lowered vram usage but still got crashes.

Strangely, I've just lowered everything to its lowest setting while still having cashed shadows and texture streaming set to high at 3840x2160 and the vram is sticking at 6400. Before it was using all 24gig of vram mem on my 3090. I figured this was fine as the game always maxed out my 1080ti vram too

The crashes for me always seemed like a RAM rather than VRAM thing but honestly dont know. Last time mine crashed I knew it was coming because my FPS went inconsistent in the game and Discord and GOG crashed in the background. Thought 'can I last until this match is over?' - nope crashed in 3rd place :p

A friend of mine has had a load of crashes over the last week though which werent happening previously so could be game update related also

I've tested without rtx and still crashed. I'm now running the game with potato settings. The only problem with my testing method is that it takes an hour to complete so it takes a while to try and work out the issues.

Are your friends crashes related to memory issues?

Lads I'm having a bit of a nightmare with warzone. I've purchased a second hand gaming pc with a ryzen 7 5800x & nvidia geforce rtx 3080.

I'm having crashes or frezzing it's happened about 8 times tonight whilst in a squad, yet when I play solo no crashing. Any ideas please

Cheaters in rebirth last night, almost unplayable :(

Which nvidia drivers are you on?

Driver only or geforce experience? Any GPU monitoring software or anything?
Works fine for me with no crashing on 511.72 (driver only)
