Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

The only reason this is fun to play to me is its slower and dare I say slightly more tactical and skill based. Not run around at warp speed slide killing and jumping about like its bloody quake. No wonder all the kiddos are raging about it.
I agree and am enjoying it quite a bit. First COD I've probably bought in 15 years.

Just tried the beta. My initial impressions are that the movement feels slow and clunky (as I expected) and when ADS firing the visibility is terrible - it's really hard to see the enemy which makes tracking very challenging. Will play a bit more tonight but so far I don't see myself paying for it, at least at full price.

I played the beta for somewhere between 3-5 hours. Usual trash, the bunnyhopping and flying around corners is fully ridiculous. Im a competent FPS player but these zoomies are on another level of GFUEL'd swan diving sweat. This boomers streak of 5 years without COD continues.

Had a quick go on the open beta. Really enjoyed it but it's not without issues. The user interface for menus etc is waaaaaaaaay too complicated. Virtually needs a day just to get your head around where everything is!

I like the option of slower play and whilst it's still very much a twitch shooter, if you use your brain and keep to a walk rather than run, pie corners properly etc you can often get the first shot off and win most engagements. Looking forward to it. :)

I refunded my £60, did not enjoy the beta whatsoever.

Right off the bat, horrid confusing menus
The progression system and how to unlock things, even after being explained to me, is still confusing
My first match with the M4 and started wondering why I had wibbly wobbly aim, It was like watching the gif of someone holding a fireman's hose and getting launched all over the shop.
The controls were clunky and slow, anyone else had to spam the shift key to get the fast sprinting to work?

Very disappointed, I was expecting MW2019 but better, new maps, maybe nicer looking graphics, new features, and I got none of it, I'd even go as far to say I enjoyed Cold War more than this and that game was rubbish.

There's a Modern Warfare 2 open beta on Steam, it's free. Why are people buying the £60 game to test it? ...or is it a different game?

Had a few games on Team deathmatch. Love it so far

A mix of Modern Warfare 2019 and Insurgency. It is slower so will no doubt annoyed all the slide cancelling bunny hopping sweats - good.
No idea how to use the weapons unlock thing but the base weapons seem quite good and came a close 2nd in one match with the base M4 and looting off peoples ground weapons.

Sound is fantastic too

its okay but not £60 okay. £30 - £40 id buy 60 no chance.

hopefully we get some ways to get it cheaper. hopefully this isnt all the modes or maps. as they would get boring quickly. they might of changed a lot of things already and we on a older build. fingers crossed thats the case for release.

Agreed, around £25/30...

41 years old and bang average, feels very much like the last MW to me which is not a bad thing... aiming down sights and movement seems to have been slowed down a little, both good things, also noticed fewer sweats doing that jumping around corners nonsense that makes me die inside.

Will only be playing S&D i imagine, pretty dissapointed they have ditched the 2v2 gunfight mode, that was great.
