Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

I'm playing MW2 via Steam and I'm getting this annoying problem where the game isn't even loading up.

I load Steam, select "Play", pop up appears briefly stating its preparing to launch and then nothing.

I've run the "verify integrity of games files" option within Steam and it mentions that 38 files failed to validate and will be reaquired. Still not working.

Anyone else come across this issue?

Ah its not that in depth, its more like tick it once the challenge is done. individual numbers you'd need to mentally keep track of.

I play everything other than the campaign.

Yeah I did look at it. Am hitting them so infrequently I keep forgetting.

On an unrelated note, on WZ2 you used to be able to mute individual members of your squad by right clicking them in the audio channel. Now I can't see that option, only way I can do it is to leave from the entire audio channel. Am I missing something? Fed up of idiots blaring music or people on console who don't know how to turn their mics off.

You can still do it, iirc press escape, click mouse and your mouse pointer appears you can then right click and mute.

Runs absolutely flawless on my 4090 rig, upwards of 180fps maxed out at 4K.

Depends where your majority of games are, if you have a big steam library then buy on steam.
