Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

Gross, that means getting out of the T1 playlist but I suppose if that's the best way to do it.

What a stupid challenge. I'm not going to go for the full camo grind this time as I don't have the time like I did MW2019 but I'd like to get most of the guns in gold at the very least.

T1 is turd for that specific challenge as most players are camping at distance to try and get the longshots for plat camos.

I guess you could run a dead silence build and try and sneak up on a bunch of them to get the point-blank kills but I reckon it would take longer. On shoothouse you usually get 3 of them clumped together on the tables at both ends of the map

No, we came about 4 or 5th

Also, havent had any crashes for some time. All hail not overclocking!
I have more crashes on PS5 than I do on PC so I've swapped back to the PC now and no crashes for a few days now!

Picked up a nice win yesterday where the zone ended in the water by the airport! The entire final circle was in the water so it was just 15 players swimming around trying to shoot when they could!

:D Water battles are fantastic. On one I kept popping up and picking off members of a quads by myself. It was hilarious on the prox comms

Yeah we got lucky in that 2 of the 3 of us had pistols as our secondaries so we could swim under water and shoot from below!

Bit of a strange one location wise for a final zone - and I really hate how dramatic the final zone pulls are every single time.

I haven't played a Call of Duty games for well over a decade, in fact the 2005 Call of Duty 2 was the last CoD I played! That was a great game.

It seems Modern Warfare 2 is hugely popular, 7th most played on Steam. This surprised me as it's £50 compared with *free* for Battleground or Counterstrike. What's so good about MW2 that makes a lot of folk spend good money on it?

A lot of people will be playing Warzone for free, so it is kind of exactly like PUBG and CS in that respect. Plus the SP and normal MP appeal to people on top.

Also, it’s new. New games will always be more popular than old ones.

Warzone / Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 1 & 2 are also fantastic games. The hours I spend playing Warzone with friends over the lockdowns was insane. Also they were on xbox and playstaton so that seemed groundbreaking as had never played a crossplay game so easily where the comms and everything just worked (for the most part)

For DMZ, is anyone around for doing the mission where one player has to extract with 100k?

It's not happening with randomers and me going: 'I need to take all the money for me! And not spend it on anything... :)'

I think that's what made everyone so in love with Warzone 1. It was so easy to play with friends across all platforms and considering we were all stuck inside it was just a great social replacement.

We always played a lot of games in our friend group but we had people that bought an Xbox or PS4 on the cheap just to play some crossplay WZ and have a 'beers and COD night' a couple days a week.

I reckon WZ2 has the potential to be a better game than WZ1 - but I don't think it'll ever be as popular. The stars just aligned for WZ1.

Similar, some of the games I cant even remember :D:o
There were times we would just join a lobby, chat and not even play the game. Most console people dont know or care about things like discord but it's easy enough to install a came, connect and join friends in a game lobby.
I remember one game 4 of us were hammered, last man alive picked up a king contract. 1 second before we were all about to be released he accidentlly drove into the train and died. Hilarious when you're all 10 drinks in!

Warzone / comms chat (and my girlfriend) was about the only thing that kept me sane over the lockdowns

That would be great, cheers.

Just did 4 safes solo, 101k cash, even stopped on the way back to res one of the silent randomers, made it to final exfil, waited forever on that helo, 20 seconds to go and a full team shows up. Downed two of them and a third shoots me in the back  Some of the missions are virtually impossible solo but it's certainly very exciting.

Not sure how that's possible, I've not played for over a month and even when i did last play it was for a hour at most on a week end lol.
How quickly does it go to 200ms search? In WZ1 a sign of being shadowbanned is that it would almost immediately go up to high ping (cant remember if it was 200ms or 350ms) upon searching for a game. Happened to a mate of mine and lasted a week, iirc he was able to confirm account was under review by logging in to acti site.

Playing solo WZ just now and died then lost in the gulag, was about to quit and it says my teammate bought me back. I parachuted in and continued playing, how is that possible?
