Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

You can go in any direction you want with the battle pass, find the quickest route to the item you want and unlock that way.
Ok, so i got the BAS-P... what a load of rubbish that is! took ages to get that high enough.

Aaaaand now i need the M13B again... tried DMZ, couldnt get randoms to come to the chemist, and lasted 5 seconds going it alone. sigh

Get a sniper rifle and stay on the outskirts of the gas and pick the guards and chemist off, gas mask up once he’s down and grab the gun, I’ve tried it a few times solo and not made it, not with a sniper rifle though to be fair

You don't need to so the chemist. Just ask a friend to give you their standard M13-B as soon you join the round and exfil straight away. I got nearly all my guns unlocked on DMZ by killing players and extracting with their guns.

You can also cheese the Chemist by running him over if the zone allows.

Can't run him over any more. He uses DDOS to disable the vehicle. I'll be on tonight and happy to bring the weapon into dmz for you.

Agreed and I'm only 4 in so far (AR's). Just been playing Invasion mode and shooting from on top of buildings.
I found there were too many bots in invasion - Tier 1 has been the best for me. There is an optic (XTEN Angel-40) with a rangefinder on it that fits most AR's and SMG's which I have used to scout distances and spots in the normal MP maps - I immediately quit out of some as they are too annoying but in a good game you can get a gun done in a single game if you're lucky. Everyone is doing longshots as well so it kind of helps (if you can beat them to it).
Distances are below if you didnt already have them. I've not got data, but I have found that if I put a longer barrel on there I'm not getting longshots at the distances below - i feel like the longer barrell increases the distance required for a longshot and as such have just been using recoil balancing attachments and larger mags.
  • Shotguns: 12.5m
  • Pistols: 20m
  • SMGs: 30m
  • LMGs: 38m
  • Marksman Rifles: 38m
  • Battle Rifles: 38m
  • Sniper Rifles: 50m

I found Ground War the best for getting long shots, especially for Snipers. Not all the MP maps have the best angles for the range you need. So you're forever quitting matches to get the right map, or just sitting hard scoping the only long shot angle hoping someone will wander past before you get shot in the side or from behind. It's way more efficient going into the large scale maps you get in every GW game.

For what it's worth I'm pretty bad at the game and just solod the chemist.

Take a sniper rifle with you and start picking off as many AI as you can. Head in over their corpses picking up their gas masks. Chemist won't engage you straight off, so you can give him a couple of spanks to the face before he turns to fight.

I think I killed 20 AI in total before going in.

I did the Pistols and Shotguns on Shipment fairly quickly.

For the rest I then turned to Tier 1 and the Crown Raceway, Mercado and Embassy maps as these were the easiest to camp out and snipe on. Every now and then you'd get Shoot House which is obviously great for longshots but it did turn into a sniping contest.

Found the Drexsom Prime-90 thermal sight really useful, especially combined with smoke grenades to obscure you from enemies not using thermal sights.

But yes, the Platinum grind was torture and the subsequent Polyatomic headshots grind was a total breath of fresh air by comparison.

Spanks in the face :D This is solid advice though ….

Note people. Game updated this morning, around 100mb update. Had my first crash in game ever.
Error code: 0xC0000005 (0) N

Updated my Nvidia GPU drivers from 527.56 to 528.02 and no crashes as yet. 10 minutes later my friend had the exact same crash so has done the same as me

Noticed different menu options for vsync, seems some options have been added. It would be nice of them to list all the patch notes, even minor updates instead od just 1.8.1, 1.7.0 and 1.6.0

Currently 1.8.8.13372565 in Battle.net
