Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

Why is battle.net so rubbish to dload off, had full fibre installed recently. Did one update on it the other day and I've done a fresh install of windows and doing another install of it, both around 10MBs, rubbish!

Also noticed it with epic games, just all seems rubbish.
 
They're testing tuning for RICOCHET in the BO6 beta and it seems like people are getting falsely banned left, right and center.


Imagine pre-ordering a game for £70 and getting falsely banned and labelled a cheater because they were testing the anti-cheat system. The word "tuning" is concerning, it sounds like they're analyzing telemetry for statistical anomalies which is always going to result in some amount of false positives.

I hate this game. I hate the people playing it, the stupid constant jumping and diving, the aim assist....

I'm done, I need something less stupid and irritating to play
 
Since the devs are gimps and refuse to put duos back on big map Warzone we've been using the "find a party" option to fill the 3rd spot with a random. Tonight we got a genuine level 1 dude playing for the first time. Worse than an absolute bot.

What we found was quite shocking. We played 6 games with the dude and every single one of them was full of absolutely cracked teams. It seems that their are a lot of people abusing the SBMM this way (having mates sign up to new accounts) so that they can feel better about themselves for absolutely slaughtering lobbies of bots. It was absolutely disgusting.

The game is also full of cheaters again. We spectated one earlier since we thought our deathcams were 'sus. The dude was on 26 kills , his Chinese mate was on 24 and the 3rd dude couldn't do the basics of move or pick up loot but could headshot every kill :cry:

The first dude on 26 kills got Ricochet kicked whilst we spectated which felt satisfying.
 
i'm getting crashes now. Its been pretty crash free for me (its only saving grace perhaps) but now it crashes. Every three or four games of multiplayer. So annoying.

ive uninstalled it all, updated windows, gpu driver, chipset drivers. downloaded the game again, no change.

That sounds frustrating. I went thru a spell of regularly crashing when initially running the game, but recenly rock solid.
 
I played this loads on Series X but since moving to PC I get constant "Packet Burst" to the extent it's un-playable :(

I'm playing over Wifi "Shudder" but I can play BF2042 with 0 issues, I played on Series X over WIFI with 0 issues.

Tempted to try Ethernet just to see if that fixes it and it is actually down to Wifi.

In our group of COD players we're probably down to 2 or 3 crashes a week amongst all of us. Warzone 1 on the other hand? That was a daily occurrence for everyone :cry:

Load Warzone but get the Treyarch launcher - restart needed.
Load Warzone again, Treyarch launcher, manually close adds, click Warzone, app closes.
Warzone loads - restart needed.
Restarts into Warzone.

No, this is not OK.

It's the new simplified launcher that they had everyone download GB's for. Duh /s
I'm not even attempting to launch a game just now, By the amount of complaints on socials, It appears a lot are unlucky with having do full re-intsalls.

Played a few hours of it and for a start the fov reset which I didn't reaslise until scrolling x and we need to change some movement settings again for more responsiveness, apparently a lot of the patches made during MW3 are gone as well.

I'll stick to enjoying multiplayer on rotation with a few other games.

Same, my keybinds were reset, menu system changed yet again, seems to be a slightly different angle for the 1st person view which makes it harder to track and shoot the baddies.
After taking up the original Warzone at the start of lockdown, this is the first time I've thought about jacking it in and looking for something else.
