Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

Hi, has anyone got a good fix for the DIVER error - get it after every update and tried everything this time, mobile hotspot to deleting files.....I am almost done with this game but my boy loves it and we want to play together - his PC has no problems, on the same network???
 
I haven't played in a couple of months, partly to do with it being summer but also just none of us seem interested in playing the same old rubbish.
 
played a few resurgence rounds with mates and has been quite good fun, due to the COD cycle the game just feels a bit dead, they could learn a lot for the Fortnite model, making the store and purchases transferable and varied maps changes and weapons / mods in cycles. i am hoping Microsoft put a new stamp on things as typically most cod games hit staleness after 4 - 6 months.

who would be purchasing skins and items from a very over priced store for a game that will be dead in 2 months.
 
To be fair, I've not really had much interest in jumping in now. I've played a few games over the weeks but with no idea in what's meta these days so at an immediate disadvantage.

Yep, same with me. I did the same last year I just went too hard to start with and it got boring quite quickly. I don't even watch on Twitch any more either. I used to have streams on in the background whilst working but don't bother any more. Game is stale.
 
ive been away for a week, and didnt play for a few days before hand... 126gb update?!?
then another 30gb update after that. Then a restart, then wait forever for it to preload... its as if they didnt want you to play it.

And it seems exactly the same, though the FOV seems off, like its much lower than it was, but still set the same in settings... perhaps its just me?

i did alright though wierdly
 
I believe it was for changing the UI in a future update, splitting warzone from COD which will inturn bring smaller updates. Preloading BO6 etc etc. A host of reasons really
 
Think I'm gonna go back to controller for the new game. Been using keyboard and mouse on COD since Verdansk. Played a few games of Warzone last night using the controller with reasonable success. A wee bit of button fumbling here and there but the aim assist is definitely strong.

I am in the same boat, had been playing MW3 MP with controller and was starting to get the hang of it after not playing controller for years. Haven't had the chance to play the beta yet, is it still OP?

Apparently not, but that can change for release.

I'm adapting to the movement and diving with it more than anything (using keyboard)

I think Black Ops 6 might be best suited for controller for the average player anyway, as the analog sticks are perfect for omni movement + diving
 
Agreed, just been trying it today and I keep getting in a muddle with my hand/finger placement trying to do all the tricks, or maybe I am just getting old.

What is annoying me the absolute most though at the moment is at the end of each game you need to endure 15 seconds of looking at the top 3 players doing their emotes. I seem to remember vanguard doing something similar and it annoyed the hell out of me then too :(.

I end up messing myself around swapping between each input, I mostly use keyboard and mouse for fps games but stuck to controller for COD as aim assist felt like it was on another level. I’d love it if this game brought aim assist back in line with previous games (basically anything pre MW2019).
 
Been playing the beta using KB/M but been finding the controllers stomping me at times. The aim assist and omni stuff is really much better on controller.
