I'm being promised a partial refund (just under 50%) now. I'll be happy to confirm once this is received.

Hopefully the other guy is getting his hand crossed, too.

Make sure you only accept a full refund. No 50% now and 50% later. As soon as he has given you something your chances of recovering the rest are slim.

50% is a start but you're still being penalised when the sender is at fault. He should issue a full refund.

Thanks kindly for your helpful advice (honestly). But I know where he lives. I'm not worried about the possibility of not getting the rest back.
