Camoe the scammer is pwnd?

As well as ignoring those to whom he owes refunds for his "hdds in a jiffy bag" scam, Camoe the Scammer has ignored the Dons' emails too, so it's nice to see he's at least been banned from OcUK.

Got away with it? He forgot one thing... he'd sent me a friend request on FB weeks before he scammed us, and since I don't check FB from month to month, I've only just seen it.

Happy to accept, sir. ;)

The following is for your information and hilarity. Since they were posted by Camoe the Scammer himself into a publicly visible folder on t'internets, I'm presuming that there's no issue with re-hosting them here for our collective information.

Notice that he's been active on FB all this week (while ignoring by email those he owes money to, as well as the MM Dons). He was daft enough to leave me enough personal info on his wall for me to find his parents full names and his home address and telephone number too; I wonder if they know their teenage son is a scammer?

At least now I know where to send the court summons. :mad:

PLEASE bear in mind, Dons - this is a confirmed SCAMMER who screwed over genuine OcUK forum members for real cash. Nothing is posted here that isn't public domain. Please don't delete the thread (yet?)... :)
 
What a coincidence. I've just had an email from him saying he's been on holiday for a fortnight. I wish I was that "skint". Can't afford a refund my ****, even if his folks DID pay for the holiday - I bet he bought beer and whatnot while he was over there?

Come to think of it, why not get his folks to stump up the (moderate) cash amount to pay what he owed instead of ignoring everyone and jetting off on holiday? Smells like BS to me. Oh well. We'll see if the refunds arrive?

:eek: I genuinely missed that, sorry. Please note I'd taken the trouble to delete surnames, personal details etc - I didn't just "not bother". Fixed now - if Dons' images still have the swearie, it's a cached pic - the original HAS been overwritten on my server.

Well I've just had more mail from Camoe.

Apparently he's watching this thread and he's not happy with me.

His answer? I'm apparently 'unbelievable' and 'where is he meant to get the money? Out of his anus?'.... I dunno Camoe; less beer on holiday maybe? Maybe you need principles first though. Or maybe it's just me?...
 
In case anyone missed it earlier (fast replies are fast!)...

Camoe is watching this thread and isn't happy. He is allegedly just back from a fortnight's holiday, conveniently whilst being too skint to pay what he owes to myself, Nix (and others?). He didn't think to email us and explain he was failing to meet his self-imposed deadlines for refund, before he went away then?

Hm. That and a few other excuses, in between me being "unbelievable" and "omg-wtf-have-u-done??!!1!!eleven!" stuff. Sounds more like back-pedalling to me Cam, sorry. As I said by email feel free to prove me wrong and refund Nix and myself at your earliest convenience. If you do - I'll be the first to post here and let everyone know you made good. :)

If not I'll be happy to let the courts sort it out with costs and interest. :o

I *AM* one of the people he sold stuff to on here. He didn't send his address. I figured this thread was more... informative.

Oh and as above I am one of the guys he bailed on... This thread has provided me more value for money than a refund. :D

As for the "Not a scam, just negligent" guy - read the thread and the history. You don't sell defective goods, claim you're "not a shop" and then disappear from the forum and refuse to answer emails, after missing your self-imposed refund deadline by WEEKS, without people yelling "SCAM".
 
I'm being promised a partial refund (just under 50%) now. I'll be happy to confirm once this is received. :) Hopefully the other guy is getting his hand crossed, too.

BTW Nix, sorry - your username is rather similar to the other guy who got scammed. I've just checked my emails. My bad lol

Thanks kindly for your helpful advice (honestly). But I know where he lives. I'm not worried about the possibility of not getting the rest back. :)

No you misunderstood; it was an all inclusive holiday and he hasn't spent a penny since early July, honest. :o.......
