No, that rarely happens, it's still not racing or overtaking.
Why would it rarely happen? Because the car behind is faster anyway? Doesn't that make DRS simply a catalyst to the inevitable rather than an unfair advantage?

I think all talk of DRS should be put on hold until after Silverstone as the double diffusers are being removed there. See what that effect will have on straight line speed, the ability to defend and things.
Exactly, if the driver is able to make a comeback, next lap he has DRS.
They were banned last season weren't they

despite 0.5sec average and not in DRS zone. Overtaking shouldn't and doesn't need to be a breeze.

Yep, off throttle exhaust is being banned (well reduced) at silverstone.
He meant the Exhaust blown diffusers.
Yeah, DRS has made overtaking a push button manoeuvre
Doesn't that break the fundamental that the car in front becomes the car behind the next lap? Then they can just repay the favour?
I know you aren't a fan of it, but I don't think we have enough evidence or experience using it to denounce it after every race as the Beelzebub of racing and falsifier of results. If we had topsy turvy results then I would say there is a proper error in its implementation, but the fast cars still win and the slow cars still lose, it just provides extra opportunities across the field.
Just for accuracy, you mean EBD removed? DD have gone already.I think all talk of DRS should be put on hold until after Silverstone as the double diffusers are being removed there. See what that effect will have on straight line speed, the ability to defend and things.
