Canadian Grand Prix 2011, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve - Race 7/19

I'd quite like a bit of mixed weather changing from dry to wet and back again. But I'll settle for anything that isn't a lights to flag first place for Vettel again...

+2

I would love to see Massa and Webber right in the mix as well. Basically anything that stops Seb from taking 25 points from another race.

Knip better be doing a jig where ever she is :p

I really want Massa to do well in Montreal, he's looked comfortable here, and he deserves a good result. I would really like to see him placed before Alonso aswell :p

I want a dry as possible, race. The drier the better.

This is probably one of the first races (in a long long time) where RBR are not going to have the fastest car on the track (in race trim). Vettel barely got pole here, meaning that they are on the limit. This season has shown that RBR's race pace is slower than their qualifying pace (compared to other teams). My belief is that Ferrari and McLaren both have a faster car than RBR here (in race trim).

In identical conditions to yesterday, ie. dry, I think Alonso and Hamilton can beat Vettel today.

Should it rain, any advantage which Ferrari/McLaren have, will be gone.

If it rains, Vettel has to consider himself lucky. Also consider that Vettel is a decent wet weather driver.

When I want rain is if RBR are 1s/lap faster than the rest. In that case, the only chance other teams have (to beat the RBR car) is rain.

I want a dry race to for the reasons you state. A wet race could ruin the chances to see how much if anything at all RB have in hand because it looks like they could be pushed at canada in dry conditions.

And no race when these girls start crying about it being too wet, the wrong kind of rain or dangerous.

Too right. You don't want too much rain otherwise most of the drivers will talk about the dangers of driving in wet weather. PUH!

Why can't we have more drivers like Mansell, Senna and Hamilton.

A shower during the race would be perfect, a bit of excitment to what is becoming dull racing again. Yes there is overtaking but only once at the front so far in the season.

Yeah, they should just let the race go on and if they are to scared, pull in to the pits, get out the car and collect your p45.

Oh god yes. I wish it was like that.
Makes me think of Korea last year, everyone bitching about the weather. Hamilton saying it was practically inters weather!!

Yep agree 100%, webber probably already walking aroud the pits whipping up support for a safety car start and 45 laps behind the safety car to see how safe it is.
