Canadian Grand Prix 2012, Montréal - Race 7/20

Plz Mclaren a long 7th gear is needed. How many times have Mclaren set a car up only to mess up the final gear and have the cars bounce of the limiter during the race.

Pretty much every DRS race I have ever seen.

Although the RBR does the same, and they have won the last 2 championships. Its not a problem if you are out in front.

MSc is an unlucky driver. Its how it is now.
He is a driver who now finds himself, in almost every race, in a collision (of his making or not).
sounds ridiculous expecially if you compile a list of races and why he didnt finish

some people on these forums would have everyone believe msc is crashing into someone every race when its as far from the truth as you can get

No one is accusing him of crashing into other people.
What I am accusing him of is being involved in collisions. Wrong place. Wrong time.
Right now Rosberg is massacring him in the points standings and this is purely down to bad luck. But that is all part and parcel of being a driver. You bring your luck with you and if bad luck continues, eventually you get booted out of F1.

Conversely, take a look at Vettel. Probably the luckiest driver currently in F1. And its no surprise that he won the last 2 WDCs and is currently 2nd in this year's race.

Luck is an integral factor in the make-up of an F1 driver (and probably any sportsman).

Yep, you make your own luck. If you qualify well you stay out of trouble. The one time he has qualified well he had a penalty for a previous collision.

Is he running at a higher collision rate than Hamilton was this time last year? If so he's getting let off lightly by the fans, regardless of fault.

What's up with JB's car that means he might not get to run before rain?

Rear end being swapped for the spare. Oil leak was fixed, but there was a problem with the oil system that required the box to be changed.

Luckilly the Gearbox, suspension, rear wing etc is essentially a single sub assembly.

lolwut?
grosjean hit him twice (he hits someone every race so far........)
he hit senna once

mechanical failures arent related to luck.

your as bad as the brit commentators who are still going on about schumacher beeing replaced even though.

ross said he thinks schumacher will stay.
nico even thinks schumacher will still be at merc next year.

There we go.

Senna was first into the Wall of Champions.

Session red flagged.

*edit*

Wozers, hit the first kerb hard and lost it even before the second kerb. Went in backwards. :D

Yeah, slid into the second kerb really.

I missed the pre-session stuff, was there much talk on the new Williams rear wing? How much is it worth, are they onto something?
