I wouldn't give McLaren to much credit on strategy, they managed to completely screw up Buttons strategy both yesterday and today.

But then Button driving like a granny didn't help either, but 3 stops, what were they thinking?

I wouldn't go so far as to say the middle was boring, but by Canada's standards it was mediocre.

Excellent finale though. Well pleased for Grosjean and Perez, and Hammy is over due a win.

Yeah you don't see the drivers with flags at the end these days, happened quite a bit in Senna and Niges day. Is it banned now?

As an alonso fan gutted ferrari didnt pit him to guarantee 3rd at least, was a weird call.

Stopping the car on the in lap is banned, and the teams efforts to ensure the engine and gearboxes last means doughnuts and things are out too.

If the FIA could they would get everyone in the pits right after the finish line, like they do in Spa.

Still talking and shouting like he has too much spit in his mouth. I thought James Allen was doing the radio commentary?

It wouldn't have got them ahead. I felt at the time Vettel should have pitted soon after Hamilton to try and jump Alonso though.

I think the thing about Perez and Grosjeans times were that they started pushing when their car was the lightest. Alonso's and Vettl's tires had gone by them.

To be fair, until around lap 65 3rd still seemed fully on the cards. The tyres just dropped away massively right at the end.

So close. A crash or car failure and it all turns around. Consistency is everything this year.
