Canadian Grand Prix 2013, Montréal - Race 7/19

Vettel being booed...

Alonso/Ferrari seem to be loved by everyone everywhere. I can understand though, he comes across as a very nice guy.

Some hamilton loving going on too

Another boring race, boring drives from Vettel and Hamilton, Vettel just with probably the fastest car, anyone remotely competitive to him (Alonso, Webber) starting too far back and getting stuck for most of the race making it a cruise at the front. You only need to see Webber/Alonso pace after they've finally passed whoever was slowing them down.

I do wonder if Sutil not screwing Hamilton might have given him a few more laps. Its that last second to gain that is so much harder, and it was pretty much gifted to him. I also think the team was maybe to conservative asking him to go slow to conserve tyres, if he'd speed up 2-3 laps earlier and Sutil not screwed him he might have gotten second. Good push by Alonso though, also hard to know what would have happened without Webber getting damage from a moron.

Lastly, Rosberg, I don't think he was as good as Hamilton but not as bad as people will say. He had defensive driving to do, which costs you time, which I've said before, then he had more problems driving behind people after that, and a horrendous strategy error again from Merc.

Earlier this season Hamilton had a race where they pretty inexplicably put an extra set of super softs on rather than switching to the hards, and they did that again here just for Rosberg, and 40 laps on the hard, lol, he should have been burning rubber for 2x 20 lap stints on the harder tyres, instead he went slow, then had to pit anyway. Merc have gotten both those things wrong before, driving slower pretending they can do a super long stint.... you can't, stop trying it, and trying to do a super soft stint extra over everyone else.... no, the tyres aren't remotely worth it.

It's getting worse. DC is saying less and less and i ****ing hate the other guy.

It's almost like they are resigned to the inevitable - the entire season live on sky and at best highlights on BBC, and who wants to watch highlights when you know whose won beforehand?

A cruise at the front? Lol.

Did you miss him out braking himself 3 times and hitting the wall?
