Yeah true, but I still think how lotus were doing at the start is their peak. Worse for my gf being a mclaren supporter!

Isn't that exactly what they said happened and why they have continued with this car, the old car they said had nothing left to give.

I've said for years Mclaren are ****. Never build two good cars in a row since 1980 something. Yeah they won the title in 98/99 but only because schumacher had a broken leg.

Other than that they have gotten worse, Whitmarsh clearly is not up to the task. He should have gone years ago. I like him, he seems a bloody nice bloke but every year it's the same. Start from miles back or start with a good car **** it up and stagnate.

Jenson needs to have his management team put him in the Ferrari next year. A much better no2 to take points off Alonso's rivals as Massa doesn't, cheap and towards the end of his career. Pretty much Webber for Ferrari.

Whitmarsh im seriiusly having reservations over now.. and Michaels... every time he speaks its about how good his teams pitstop times are... who gives a crap if we can do 2.5 stops when we're being ******** lapped you MOTHER!!

Its not "this" at all boys. The car is 1.5 seconds off the pace. Jenson beat lewis in their 3 seasons together in equal machinery. Have you only just started watching f1 this season?

If this is how they go in cooler races then season over. Mercedes, red bull, ferrari are all faster and kimi will be off at seasons end.

It's frustrating as I don't see them being any better than they are now, just don't have the budget to compete with big teams

Same as last year - Kimi was right up there then gradually drifted back. I can't see him staying if a seat at Red Bull comes up.

Jenson canot hustle a bad car like Lewis at all. If Jensons car is not to his liking he goes backwards, his feedback will never be as strong as he canot push a bad car

Its hard to judge. Who knows how McLaren would have progressed if he had been there this year.

Apparently the wing incident with Mark really killed his performance but then he bangs in fastest lap. God knows lol

No he didn't. Hamilton beat him 2 seasons to 1 and ****ed all over him on saturdays. Without some terrible Mclaren work would have smashed him last year. I like both but you would have to be nuts to peddle out the yeah but he scored more points over 3 years. That means nothing, you don't get anything for that.

Massa beat kimi over 2007/8 in points total. I think you would be hard pushed to find someone say Massa is or was or could ever be better than Kimi.

It took the worst season Hamilton has ever had for Button to beat him and Button in his own words to have his best.

I get it, you are in Love with Jenson but take the blinkers off ffs.

I don't know what universe your looking at, but Lewis beat JB on points in 2010 and just in 2012, and that was only because of 3 extra retirements.

As for the race, fairly entertaining but that god damn Red Bull is fast when it isn't eating tyres

Erm. Actually I was referring to total points haul. And its no excusecto say it was Lewis' woest year bla bla bla... some drivers only ever get one season in f1 so you make them all count and if you had a bad year thats your fault. Fact is the car was alright as JB demonstrated. Did Lewis have one arm tied behind his back that season in particular because all I hear is "that was lewis' worst season"... like its some sort of justification.
