Canadian Grand Prix 2014, Montréal - Race 7/19

This is only a valid criticizm if the other guy lost points because of it.

So Hamilton may have retired from 1st instead of 2nd/3rd wow what a difference

You can't give penalties out like that though...

Let's assume a situation where someone 100% deliberately cheats to get into 1st place. The car now in 2nd place then retires, would you seriously say that the driver who cheated doesn't still deserve a penalty?

Probably knew Hamilton would get him into the first corner if he actually went through with taking the chicane slowly so bolted it through and cut the corner.

Yup, that's precisely what I think happened, he actively decided he would be screwed if he too the chicane so cut it and sped up, gave himself a gap. It's pure cheating, I think we're beyond a 5 second penalty for that, drive through or stop go for that... not actually sure a drive through is much of a penalty here though :p

Yeah, cheating is fine as long as the other guy wasn't going to finish anyway.:rolleyes:

Prove a driver deliberately cheats to staet with

Alsocits pretty unlilely Rosberg would chose to flat spot his relatively new tyres

He didnt cheat according to the ex driver on the stewards panel

and? I don't share the same opinion as him, I have a different criteria, I say what I THINK happened, he is supposed to give a penalty if he can prove what happened.

Much like Monaco and Rosberg cheating to get pole, did you see him in the interviews afterwards, he was awkward as ****, apologetic, you could sense the guilt, but no proof. He beats hamilton to pole and he's smug as **** this week because he didn't cheat to do it, completely different reaction.

Who said he purposefully flat spotted his tires, no one. After his tires unlock he has the choice of a very slow chicane or accelerating across OFF THE TRACK, he chose the latter.

An unfortunate sitution, nothing more - again Rosberg locked up bu mistake while pushing 110%

You are yetvagain reading into stuff that ismt there
