Canadian Grand Prix 2014, Montréal - Race 7/19

Yeah, I said we'd see it earlier but, sooo close to seeing it in Q2 there :p

Pole last year was a 1:13.xx wasn't it, so pretty damn close on tracks like this.

EDIT:- As I think we'll see a 1:14.5-8 pole.

lol david - if his team mate parks it on a curb

lol if DR beats vettel again what will be the excuse??
either vettel is terrible with these cars or webber was just cack

Could be both, definitely the latter, didn't ever rate Webber. I think Vettel just grew into that particular car, and confidence works wonders in most sports, so he wasn't as far ahead earlier on but after a one title less crashing in to his team mate and more consistent and it was a no contest between them.

Said it before and will say it again - Vettel is quick when the car suits him, otherwise he's distinctly average.

The best drivers can wring the best out of a sub-standard car or one that's simply not quite to their liking. Schumacher could do it all the time, as can Alonso and Hamilton in current F1. Vettel just can't - if the car isn't exactly how he likes it then he's average and just moans about it.

Hope Ricciardo keeps kicking his backside all season long tbh.
