See what happens tomorrow, but such equal drivers, going to be near impossible to overtake.
 
Yup, pooped that a bit, well done Rosberg. Really wanted to see Massa on the second row as he's been the most capable of insane starts, Bottas or Massa in third could have been really really interesting. I think a slow RBR in third will likely make it impossible for a Williams to get into the first corner in the lead. They have had some insane starts though. I really wanted to a Williams in third.

The start should certainly be exciting :) think the Williams may well be able to jump the RB on the straights if they can be close enough even if they don't get him on the start, they are in a great position.
 
Really looking forward to the race tomorrow now… obviously hoping Lewis can find a way past but I'm fully expecting an epic battle between the two Merc drivers. :D
 
Missed qualifying due to amazing weather, I suspect due to how quiet it is in here that most people are the same.

Pretty much Hamilton's to lose tomorrow.
 
Well, I didn't expect that. Good show from Rosberg and an error from Hamilton who was, oddly, not going for the straightlined finish to buy himself that extra.

Still I think I'll back Lewis for the win tomorrow.

Same, if it was reversed I wouldn't fancy Rosberg to get by Hamilton even if he had a stint where he was 0.5 faster, yet I fancy Hamilton to get by Rosberg. He's just a better racer. Hopefully they will take each other out because then the race good be mega :D
 
Pastor Maldonado has been reprimanded for failing to leave his steering wheel in his Lotus Formula 1 car after it stopped in qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix.

The Venezuelan came to a halt during Q1 at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve with a suspected car problem.

But having not put the steering wheel back in his Lotus - as required by the rules - after he climbed out, Maldonado was summoned to see the stewards.

In the end it was decided that he would be given a reprimand, which is his first of the season.

A statement issued by the stewards said: "The stewards noted that the car was not left in a dangerous position on the track and therefore a reprimand was appropriate.
