Can't believe I have to sneak into pubs again

I get ID'd loads  The Pitcher & Piano in Notts refused to serve me the other week because I had no ID on me. I'm 25 ffs, and they let me through the door when they were ID'ing other people. It's SO bloody annoying and it's not even as if I look really young. I'm always told "you should bring your driving license with you". They fail to realise that photo licenses weren't around when I passed my test because I'm TWENTY FIVE, and that it costs money to get my paper one replaced. I've started taking my passport out with me now.

Are you dressed like an Emo? It's usually a dead give away that your 14 -> 18 :p

No, I'm a relatively normal person really. My signature is ever so slightly ironic ;)

Got IDed just before xmas (the first time ever) - they told me they were IDing everyone who looked under 25 - I pointed out I looked under 25 because I was under 25.

The amusing part of it was that they IDed Mic too - he'll be 38 in July - he was very happy about that one

I haven't been ID'd since I was about 14 :p

Though I was asked for ID in Maidstone when out with MB on the Kent meet, but it was more of a mickey take because of the banter we had with the bouncers anyway ;)

Actually I've only ever got ID'd in the States - but then again that's normal, however it was only at about 50% of places :/

Maybe I look old for my age... or maybe I'm just amazing.

I get ID'd now and again - i don't kick up a fuss because I know I sometimes don't look my age. I guess I look over 18, but not 21. I'd say I probably look early 19ish.

I used to get ID'd a lot when I had braces in, since I've had them out, i've aged about 2 years. Also, if my hair it long it makes me look younger.

Meh.

Last time I was ID'd was probably about 2 months ago when I went to the local weatherspoon. They seem to ID everyone. I haven't been ID'd anywhere else, the local Tesco etc seem to know i'm old enough.

I've not been ID'd in a pub/club for quite a while. The last time I can remember was when I went out the side door of a pub and back in through the main door to go to the toilet, at which point I was ID'd (it was a lot qucker) :p!

Wow. Imagine waiting 18 years to wee

I get ID'd in certain places, then again I am 17. It's abit sucky when all my mates are already 18 and my birthday is at the end of a college year (July).

I don't get id'd anymore, guess it helps that all the people i hang about with are 20+. I tend not to go anywhere i need to be id'd in (like clubs) only time is when i go see my boyfriends band.

The drinking age should be 25, keep the bloody kids out of the pubs so I can have a pint in peace. That would be a pint of bitter as well, not some over fizzy lager or, heaven forbid, some sort of luminous toxic waste in a bottle.

:p

One of my mates got moved up a year, and so will be 17 until September whereas we're all 18. Bit of a bummer :(

i get ID'd for everything, i bought a 15 rated dvd for my brother in asda last week, and got ID'd, i get offered childs fares on busses, and heaven forbid i try to get into a pub that isn't my local
I turn 20 this week
the general consensus is that my (just) 16 year old brother looks like the older sibling
oh well, i'll be loving this when i'm 30 :)

I've no problem with being asked for ID, it's hardly a great hassle is it? If you goto the US virtually everyone gets asked for it unless they've got grey hair and a zimmer frame!

I've got no problem with being ID'd as I know the pubs have to cover themselves, I'm just annoyed because I'm not allowed to drink in pubs that are on my doorstep anymore because you have to be over 21 :(

I haven't been id'd in ages now and there are times when I wish I would do, just for the fun of it since I carry my drivers licence with me everywhere and I'm 25 in a few days time :D .

Off to Orlando for the new year so I'm expecting to be id'd there, not sure if they will accept my drivers licence so if I go anywhere I might take my passport with me. On the plus side drunk college students :D
