With the government's track record for data security, I dislike the thouht of my fingerprints, mugshot, DNA and medical history ending up on a bus seat.
pretty sure your fingerprints are all over a bus and your dna.

This is why I love this place, OMG BRITAIN IS SO BAD!!!I like going away though
Mind you I only go over to Germany to be honest, may as well move over there.
I don't really care about these either way. I would never get one as there is no reason for it as I have a passport and drivers licence which is more than enough ID. If they ever make them compulsory I will refuse to pay for it though.

You have to carry around ID with you all the time in Germany, they have ID cards and have done since the 90's at least when I moved there. If you're an ex-pat (as I was there for 5 years) you need to carry around a passport or I guess this new ID if it appears over here.
...yes...because the suspect burn mark on the back of the page won't ring alarm bells![]()
I always carry ID around with me anyway....and when I'm on holiday, not in my country, I have my passport as a lot of places don't like your driving license.
I never said Britain is THAT bad anyway, if it carries on and becomes a nannie state/country/whatever then yes, I will start moaning![]()
I suggest somewhere else apart from Germany if it's for this reason then.![]()

To be honest, on this issue alone I can't wait to vote them out.
I find Germany a calm place, never had issues with it.
