Fair play to Capello the FA undermined and he said "**** off"

Tbh this whole Rooney stamping and Terry Racism thing has runied and undermined English international football

For the world cup (surely the main thing we have to judge him on), he came across as though he didn't have a clue what he was doing and it seemed to me he was picking the team that the media suggested.

No it didn't. We just didn't do well and haven't done so for many years.

Hodgson I reckon.

EDIT:

Not quite sure you get where I'm coming from. I think I'm coming from the same angle as Mr White but I could be wrong.:)

Struggling to care - I never rated him. It will throw the Euros out the window, but let's be honest, we were never going to do well.

Pretty much my thoughts. Never felt that he did a good job, couldn't speak english at all well considering he was our national teams manager and was getting paid stupid money to do a part time job.

I can envisage a situation whereby he takes the England job part-time (on short-term basis, until after the European Championship), whilst staying on as Tottenham manager. 'Arry could try and get Tottenham to accept not much/no compensation from England, in return for sticking with them (for this season, at least).

I'm not sure whether Spurs will let Redknapp do the job part-time for the remainder of the season. I think it's far more likely that a caretaker will be appointed until the end of the season and then Redknapp will takeover.

I just hope Stuart Pearce doesn't take the reigns for the friendlies at the end of this month. I've got tickets for the Holland game and I won't go out of protest if Pearce is in charge.
