Not sure I've seen anything to suggest he has the skills required in the middle. Seems such a waste of his pace when he always seems to torment full backs.
 
Team is as Pigeon posted with the exception of Markovic in for Moreno.

When he played off the front last season he was excellent. Playing him as a centre forward isn't ideal but answering your initial question, yes he's the best we've got right now without Sturridge and Balotelli.
 
Probably helped playing off Suarez, now he's being seen as the main man he seems to be struggling there from what I can see. He's just a **** Theo Walcott ;).
 
Be a good game tonight but I don't think we have a chance with the state of our injuries.

I'm sure there are others too, it's unbelievable at the minute.

Give it a go though, our run this tournament in sure a win will be rewarded with an away tie at Chelsea :p
 
Happy enough with that team bar Jones and Mignolet.

I'd probably have started Can over Steve or Hendo though.

EDIT: **** off Borini is on the bench, if you're going to have a falling out over him do it properly and let us never see him again, could've been ****ing useful against Basel....

Happy??!! Henderson and Markovic are wing backs tonight.... We have more then capable fullbacks... Baffling.

We resembled something of a side that could create good chances vs United (Okay their defence is crap), thats more than I can say for pretty much every other game we've played this year
