Butland never got close to anything there, good penalties all round. Even the one Stoke missed at the end was a top drawer save, not a bad penalty by any means.
 
Derided him many times this season, but top marks to Mignolet there. Now all we have to do is make sure that everybody shoots against us from the penalty spot vicinity and we might be ok :)
 
Didn't play well, played **** in actual fact but despite all that had the lino not been blind we'd have won in normal time.

Mignolet and Allen to the rescue. Who'd have thought it.

Joking aside, the balance of the front 6 is a mess and Allen seems to be the only player that can link the midfield and the attack. Deserves to start ahead of Can, Lucas or Milner at the moment.

Edit: Should probably clarify... this is not a joke, I'm being serious.

Yes. He was never the brightest but he spent too much time with Enrique over the last 18 months and it's gone from bad to worse.

The commentators thought Klopp was screaming at the officials but I'm pretty sure it was Moreno.

The front 6 were ok if we were playing City or Arsenal and we needed to out work the opposition and were going to try to run all over them. Against sides like Stoke (how they played today anyway) where they're going to take that out of the game by going long, it makes no sense.

Not sure who I want to win tonight. Everton will obviously (on paper at least) be the easier opponent, although we're more than capable of comfortably beating or losing to both, but the possibility of losing to them is a terrifying thought.
