I don't like the pictures in this thread.
In my opinion some of them are good but lots of them are crap.

The pictures are what you make of them - at least one caption from each picture has made me laugh so far. As Tru rightly points out, finding a decent pic is damned difficult anyway.

I get the feeling this thread is going too fast... you need to give a full 24hrs for people to come up with taglines, otherwise the quality of the output drops: I laughed a lot harder with the captions for the first few pics than for the last couple of ones (my own included).

I guess it's a matter of taste, I thought the first couple of images were pretty weak for captions, and the last few images have had some great lines.

And anyway, who takes 24 hours to come up with a caption?
