Car keys

I stopped putting my car keys and house keys together after my mum had a crash where it caused a problem. She had someone pull through a red light in front of her so diagonal front crash - almost head on. 30mph limit so not massive but she was probly doing 30 and the other car maybe 20-25.

Her house keys were hanging off the car key ring. The force of the impact caused the keys to swing hard and put a nasty gash in her inner thigh.

I've had nothing but a plastic key ring hanging off my car keys ever since.

Orbit key for me, but I have the car key on a G-Clip so I can easily remove it when I don't need it with me.

Need to get myself one of those Orbit ones, I keep my car and house keys separate, I can't stand the noise of them clattering around while driving.

Keep them all as one, they're on an Orbitkey which stops the house keys jangling around on the dash causing a rattle/scratching things.

When I had an e92, I attached my house keys etc to the ring that was attached to the emergency key inside the fob, then when I put the fob into the dash, released the emergency key and stored my house keys plus that in the ashtray out of the way. That way when out shopping or whatever after parking the car up I only had the little fob to carry around .

Eh? How would it make your keys heavier? Key fob itself weighs next to nothing.

Perhaps if you were on Saturn or Jupiter it'd be a concern, but you'd probably have other things on your mind.
