Nope, 20 years experience in the motor trade on the tools and later on in the management side of things.

ive got a bit of a list already
1) get wheels refurbed
2) get remap
3) get car detailed (bit of a swirl monster atm)
4) get Dash converted to blue backlight
Wheels only need refurbing because i haggled a large discount off the car, instead of asking the dealership to do them prior to collection.
Rest is pretty obvious.
Oil typically needs changing more than once in the lifetime of a carwhy would you change the oil twice? is that a typo? or is it that knackered?
Well I didn't exactly keep it standard but I've only done the following:
Carbonio Induction kit - Went for uprated panel filter instead
Rear ARB - Neuspeed 28mm ARB will be fitted within the next month![]()
Forge splitR valve for roy bacer ptsch sound innit - Still a posibility but will be a Bailey or Forge 007P if/when I pick one up cheap
Leon Cupra front splitter - Done!
Milotec grille inserts - Still a posibility, keep changing my mind on if I actually prefer them to the stock ones
100 cell sport CAT - Very doubtful
Miltek exhaust - Doubtful, CAT back might happen but only if the stock exhaust needs changing
18" Pro Race 1.2's in black - Very doubtful
custom map - Very doubtful
1) done
2) booked for 3rd July
3) still to do
4) done
New to do list
1) Fit DAP-R lowering springs and rollbar
2) Get the car machine polished by somebody
and possibly
3) get some tastefull tints.
Where you going to get your remap? I have mine booked at Thorney just before the MM7 for a stage 2.
Well over 6 months later, but let's have an update! Red = Completed, White = Not done.
Dual exhaust back box (TTE)
Install Facelift side air vents (Black gloss to match black roof)
Get side skirts and rear bumper attachments fitted (Toyota kit)
Buy Induction Kit (Apexi, proper screams at high revs!)
See if I can sort out the millions of stone chips on the bonnet (looking at getting a carbon fibre one in the future)
Get scratch on rear wheel arch removed (whoops)
I have also:
Had wheels powder coated in anthricite!
Changed from a 4-pot 1.8l engine to a 3.0l V6! From 140bhp to 225bhp
Wider tyres all around, now running 225/45 on the rear, 205/45 on the front.
PICTURE of car so far 6 months ago
PICTURE of the V6 before it went in
PICTURE of car next to my mk2 before it went for the V6 converison
Ohhh nice what power will that give you?
Next up will be new disks and pads, probably from Performance Friction.
