Car todo lists....

Greased up my rear pads and im still getting pad squeal, so only assume that its the DS2500s on the front not being up to temperature around town.

Bought a cambelt kit and saved £50 as the person selling it bought the wrong one and couldnt return it as they are special order so I can either DIY it, or get it done at the place I had planned to but for less money.

why would you change the oil twice? is that a typo? or is it that knackered?

ive got a bit of a list already

1) get wheels refurbed
2) get remap
3) get car detailed (bit of a swirl monster atm)
4) get Dash converted to blue backlight

Wheels only need refurbing because i haggled a large discount off the car, instead of asking the dealership to do them prior to collection.

Rest is pretty obvious.

1) done
2) booked for 3rd July
3) still to do
4) done

New to do list

1) Fit DAP-R lowering springs and rollbar
2) Get the car machine polished by somebody

and possibly

3) get some tastefull tints.

Well I didn't exactly keep it standard but I've only done the following:

Carbonio Induction kit - Went for uprated panel filter instead
Rear ARB - Neuspeed 28mm ARB will be fitted within the next month
Forge splitR valve for roy bacer ptsch sound innit - Still a posibility but will be a Bailey or Forge 007P if/when I pick one up cheap
Leon Cupra front splitter - Done!
Milotec grille inserts - Still a posibility, keep changing my mind on if I actually prefer them to the stock ones
100 cell sport CAT - Very doubtful
Miltek exhaust - Doubtful, CAT back might happen but only if the stock exhaust needs changing
18" Pro Race 1.2's in black - Very doubtful
custom map - Very doubtful

Well... not a custom map but after thinking about it for aaaages I finally got a Revo Stage 1. Quite pleased with it and currently considering the SPS switch so I can swap between different fuel types and swap it back to stock.

Very happy lad here; I got my car sorted today, Tokicos, Roush Springs, Hurst shifter fitted and a service. Not had much of a chance to give it a thrash testing as I had a few other jobs to do but so far very impressed.

Car looks a lot better with the inch drop (wheels don't look so tiny in those huge arches), already noticed a difference in handling but only have the stiffness set midway (will keep dialling it down until it's no longer practical). Really impressed with the shifter, yes it's extremely notchy but it's either 100% in gear or not and suits the feel of the car and great for power shifting. Had read a bit about it being a lot nosier (feeding vibration noise into the cabin) but I haven't noticed a difference but guess this is due to my exhausts being fairly noisy anyway and drowning out anything else.

After all this wait not sure what to do now, guess it's a case of deciding which mod next. :D

A few updates

Carbonio Induction kit - Went for uprated panel filter instead
Rear ARB - Will now be 2010 before I get this done
Forge splitR valve for roy bacer ptsch sound innit - Fitted a Forge 007P today... well Cybershot did whilst I stood there making crap jokes :p
Leon Cupra front splitter - Done!
Milotec grille inserts - Now not happening, prefer the stock ones.
100 cell sport CAT - Very doubtful
Miltek exhaust - Doubtful, CAT back might happen but only if the stock exhaust needs changing
18" Pro Race 1.2's in black - Very doubtful
custom map - Revo Stage 1 done

Slowly getting there  Infact probably time for a neater list.

Done:
Panel Filter
Splitter
Plates
Remap
Recirc Valve
Remote windows

To Do:
Rear ARB

Well over 6 months later, but let's have an update! Red = Completed, White = Not done.

Dual exhaust back box (TTE)
Install Facelift side air vents (Black gloss to match black roof)
Get side skirts and rear bumper attachments fitted (Toyota kit)
Buy Induction Kit (Apexi, proper screams at high revs!)

See if I can sort out the millions of stone chips on the bonnet (looking at getting a carbon fibre one in the future)
Get scratch on rear wheel arch removed (whoops)

I have also:
Had wheels powder coated in anthricite!
Changed from a 4-pot 1.8l engine to a 3.0l V6! From 140bhp to 225bhp :)
Wider tyres all around, now running 225/45 on the rear, 205/45 on the front.
