*** Car Wash / Valet / Detailing Thread ***

Nice one. Been looking for something like this also to go down the Rinseless route and can have them for different panels.

hold your horses !
im buying them for waterless wash

if you want to do Rinselss wash on exterior, use a dedicated sponge thing, never need to wash them !

although i buy the premium brand ones
you can buy a cheaper version

as you know i did a deep clean 3 weeks ago
today i recleaned it

30 mins it took

First spray the car down with rinseless wash at a higher ratio as per instructions

Rinseless wash on Glass, body and wheels
what i had left i used to clean the tyres
towel dried entire car

done in 30 mins

night before :

i made up a rinseless wash solution 5 Litres in a jerry can
and a rinsless wash solution (higher ratio) in a spray bottle
got bucket with grit guard, drying towel and cloth and brush all ready

then i can just go out and do the above

I wont be buying infinity wax waterless wash again though, car does look clean but its not really, awful product

i had car pro before, that was much better
going to get the DIY detail a go next

Like this approach and cheers for outlining steps times and feedback on product.

Must have felt like less faff also without a hose, pressure washer and equipment galore?
Yeah
This what I normally do

So much quicker etc

It's nice when there's protection on the car, makes it easier to keep clean by just doing this

No not surfex HD, as good as it is. It's not a cleaner; it's a degreaser , if you keep using it, you'll start marking the interior

Once all my APC and other bits are gone . I'm going to try the minimalist route
DIY detail APC and rinseless wash

Apparently you can use the rinseless wash on interior and exterior, if you need more punch then add the APC

woke up this morning expecting rain
sun was shining, so ran out and cleaned it

30 to 40 mins later it was done :)

Slightly different approach this morning

Sprayed car down with Rinsless wash (a higher concentration)
Rinseless washed car inc wheels with black sponge

Then i would normally dry it but instead (as it needed a top up of Turtle wax "wax"
I went over the car and wheels with turtle wax wash & wax with a microfibre cloth
This dried it and applied wax at the same time :)
