Carabao Cup 4th Round Football Thread ** spoilers ** [29th - 30th October 2024]

:D Thought I'd seen complaints on here of him not getting enough game time? Obviously not from you.
It's the rule of football, the player not playing is always better than the player playing. We've all fallen victim to it from time to time. Amad has shown some nice things but he's not good enough to start for us yet.

Everytime I have seen Amad he's looked good, eager and exciting. Don't know why he doesn't get more game time.

Great result at Newcastle even if they were hanging on a little at the end. :)

Because it would mean dropping Rashford, so it was either Amad or Garnacho, let's see if anything changes with the new manager

Ugarte was tidy and makes some good challenges, can play the odd decent forward pass but I can see why he hasn't been played much. I don't think he's quite at the pace for this league and he looked pretty tired from about 60 minutes. I like that he looks like he will get a nosebleed if he goes in the opposition half.

Ugarte looked really good at what he is supposed to be doing. Winning the ball back and harrying the opposition. He hasn't got much of a pass on him but he doesn't need that. Thats something we have lacked. Someone who makes the opposition think and act quickly instead of giving them time to pick passes and drive at us.

Hes only just settling in at United and hasn't had that much game time and lets be fair, our midfield is porous to say the least. I think if we get Amorim he will be a very useful player.

He hardly ever started though while Rashford gets game after game being poor ? I would say Rashford isn't good enough to start for us

Who would make the better impact sub, Rash or Amad? Guessing the latter. Keeps Rashford's ego happy too. I'm sure Amad will start in time.

He's started about half of our games. Rashford has still been our best wide player, and we've looked the best with Garnacho attacking the left and him playing a more creative role on the right.

Best player is stretching it, Amad actually had some good games but then left out the next game
