Carabao Cup Final Man Utd v Newcastle ** Spoilers ** [26th February 2023]

The only reason you are even in this final is because of that 250 billion. If Ashley was in charge you would have been knocked out by a league 2 club.
And your team won because your last minute sub cost more than our entire defence combined. With world clas players who cost more per week to pay than three or four of ours together.

To be fair, I thought Newcastle looked the much sharper team but didn't do anything with it in the final third. I'm sure part of that is the sheer intensity of games United have played.
Newcastle have been on wind down since their semi and United had a massive game last Thursday.

Shock horror that is what wins you trophies. It is just hilarious that Newcastle fans are claiming poverty as some sort of David Vs Goliath yet you have spent 300 million plus in the last year and that is the reason why you got to the final this year.

Don't really know what to say about that. I didn't really enjoy the game. It was scrappy and we were relatively poor but that's a sign of EtH having made a huge impact on the mentality of the players. We didn't allow Newcastle to out compete or bully us. Canny from the manager to close the game out with the subs. It made for a poor spectacle but it's great achievement for the team. Unfortunately it might resolve the Glazers to hang around and I'd rather they were gone and win nothing.
