Carabao Cup - Fourth Round ** Spoilers ** [29th Sept - 1st Oct 2020]

This is essentially a preseason game, only purpose is to get match fitness to players. Doubt we give a jot about Carabao in this season, the schedule is crammed enough.

Oh dear god he was. Influential.

It's sad really, he started quite well and has been completely anonymous ever since. You barely even notice him on the pitch he's so poor.

I think Bielsa is keen on him so maybe a loan at Leeds would help, he won't do much for us.

I can not understand why Brighton is resting players and not going all out. They have no Europe to contend with and very few of their players are required for international duty so surely a cup run is hardly going to effect their premier League campaign?

James always seems like he tries to hard. He can get into fantastic positions but thinks too fast and does something rash with the ball. In most cases trying to score when a layoff will 9 times out of ten lead to a goal.

Dean Henderson like a boss. England's future number 1.

I'm sorry but Mata is only ever "good" when he is playing against utter dross that allow him loads of time on the ball and don't press him. Against anyone half decent he is awful. Slow, lightweight and makes too many mistakes. I love the guy and he seems like one of the nicest players out there but he is the ultimate luxury player.

Pogba has been pretty good since coming on, the right player for this game, just holding up the ball and pulling in a couple of defenders before releasing the ball.

Bailly is such an improvement over slabhead.

Amazing the difference when you have players whose first instinct is to go forward....Rashford has transformed things too...
