Look, stop fannying about and get it sorted. Dial the number and say something along the lines of:

"Hi there, earlier my Carbon-Monoxide alarm went off without prior warning. My dad didn't seem to think there was a problem, but the alarm has gone off more than once, and I am now experiencing a tight chest and dizziness, although this could be my asthema.

Would it be possible to have someone come check that the house is safe please?"

Also, if your mobile isn't working; just go downstairs and pick up your damn house-phone and use that!

Don't know whether this is a joke or not, but sort it out. Go and wake the rest of your family and do the sensible thing and ring the emergency services.
