Passed my medical this morning. Just awaiting appointment for fitness test which ive been told will be ASAP.

Woop Woop! :D

get used to no sleep, 7am - is a major lie in tomorrow. Its not hard though, so far. Boring though. Today was fun. Good luck guys.

getting better, doing a lot more. Top tip though get fit, i hardly bothered and I was knackered. 4 guys on our stream ended up in the med centre and one in an ambulance.

Got my fitness test tomorrow at 5pm.

Gonna be interesting because Im certainly not prepared well enough. Once its out the way and I have a start date im gonna work my ass off to get into shape though.

What training are you doing Begbie? I did IOT in the RAF back in 2002 so would be happy to give you any tips I learnt going through that.

What sort of stuff are you doing to require one guy getting an ambulance?

I've got my pre joining training course on the 26th of February and then I start Halton on the 16th of April. I'm going to the gym 3 times a week so hopefully I will keep it up and be fit enough when I start.

Seems to be a lot of OCUK'ers joining.

That's because a few members on here constantly say 'Join the forces' when people ask for careers advice :p
